Well...when I first "re-made" it, it did take a while to find and organized all the Plzes I wanted to use...but...this was copy/paste from my word document.
I hope it doesn't feel less special now because of the circumstances...
======================================
For every image that I post, that has a significant or “stand-out” “theme,” I try to make a “Thanks for the ___ (or ) message” that will apply to it…i.e.:
“Thanksgiving”
“Picture Perfect”
“Dragon Knight”
“Winter”
“Valentines”
etc...
I have an approximately 48+ page Microsoft Word Document, [Of which this “disclaimer” I’m telling you, is part of…] full of “icon-message-coding” typed out, so that I can give others a nice, colorful, (and specific) “Thanks for the /” message whenever he/she gives me a /.
Plus, I have several other icon-message-codes typed out for other occasions as well, such as “Thanks for the Llama/Return Llama” and/or “Thanks for the Point/s” kind of messages.
I don't try to be generic, by giving everyone who gives me a particular //Llama/Point/s, the same kind of message.
I look at it as more of a way to show ALL those who ed a specific image/s, and/or gave me a Llama, points, etc., how colorful I can be with the available icons as well as thanking him/her in the process…
It sure beats a simple “Thanks for the /s” kind of message...or at least I'd like to think so

xD you're so welcome! it's hard to come by people who are good at photography (especially nature) who are similar to my style as well! And I love how clear they all came out. Like the ones with the alligator, the water looks like you could really reach out and touch it because of how much detail the photo shows. I was going to ask what camera/lense you use and how many megapixels your camera is, but forgot. I'm getting a new camera in October for my birthday, and perhaps I can convince my dad to get me one similar to yours if I show him how good your photos are. ^_^ also, did you take any classes, or are you just natural with photography?

: ) I'm glad you think so because it really made me smile. Yours were the first favs I have gotten in months, so I was starting to wonder if my photos are getting worse without me knowing ahahaha.
Ok, so mine is a Nikon D300, so it's actually really old in camera years now(anything older then three is considered out of date to some people), but there is a newer one out called the Nikon D7000. Obviously, the newer the model the more it will cost, but the newer models also have...well...more. The newer one's are supposed to be a LOT easier to get nice photos with.
I would not recommend cannon because, although their cameras are pretty much the same quality wise, they do not hold up to their warranties. I work at a photo lab(I print photos/film and sell cameras), and when ever we have to call them, they refuse to hold up to their word. They would not even give us five pieces of photo paper for one of their printers...but if you don't mind that, they are pretty much the same(but don't say that to either side...nikon and cannon users are very one way).
That lens from the photo you are talking about is a 70-200mm, with a 2x teleconverter attached. The 70-200mm does not zoom in as far as people would think, its more for that nice effect where the subject is nice and clear, and the background is blurry, the teleconverter is what gives it that little more of zoom, but you have to be a lot more still with it. They are pretty pricey though, I had to save up for mine. : ) There are better zooms out there though.
I would not personally recommend the macro lens I have(its a pain in the but to get to work right) but I have a sigma 10-20mm wide-angle. It's good for landscapes, but not so much for big group shots. Majority of my Scotland shots were taken with the wide-angle.
If your parents say they wont get you a DSLR, I would recommend the Fujifilms(they have cameras they are like DSLRS but in a compact form). We sell a lot of them, and their quality is really nice too.
As for classes, I have my photojournalism diploma. It was interesting, but I did not learn much about what I wanted to know, big surprise but it was all about newspaper journalism and photography(people photography-the non studio kind). If your into that, go for it though! I am by no means a natural though. Everything I learned about my camera I learned from using it lots. Like I really could not tell you what I am doing while I am taking a picture, I have just done so many times that I just know. I would recommend the zoo if you have a nice one! I still go to ours to practice sometimes.
Hope that helped!
