He blinked, cocking his head to the side with his minor curiosity. It wasn't every day he would get a compliment from a random passerby. The Chimera couldn't complain, it was a nice change in pace, he supposed. "Oh, thanks then, I suppose." Claus replied, blinking slowly.

The ginger paused, giving it some thought. It wasn't often he would get asked such things, and it caught him off guard. "It's... Interesting. It has it's ups and downs, that's for certain." Claus gave a small nod to this and leaned back on his left leg.
[I'm afraid they won't for one main reason. Child suicide. Ironically, America actually has standards and while we'll allow mass murder, there's something wrong with Claus being... Claus.]

Looking more closely, you notice that the teen has wings. Bat wings. Another Chimera, perhaps?

Claus blinked slowly, keeping up his disinterested mask in place. "I take it you have heard of this place then. That cuts down on explanations, I suppose..." Those wings... Remind me of my own, though somewhat more organic... How odd. Shoving the thought aside, the young Psychic grit his teeth as his back crawled, the embedded mechanical wings painfully shifting about in his back. "What brings you out here?"

"That's what I'd like to know." He sighed grumpily. He held up a hand with a mechanical glove on with built-in devices like a compass and a diagram of the world. "I was supposed to be in southern Europe somewhere during the 11th century, but I suppose that Ashton messed up the coordinates again... I told him to leave out the material from that doorknob, especially considering what happened the last time I ended up here." He starts adjusting the glove using numerous buttons and levers. All of a sudden, it lets out a burst of steam and loses power.
The teen spoke a curse in another language, probably Latin, and proceeds to mumble, "Good Lord, can't anything go my way today?"

The ginger had, as he normally would do, went out for a walk around the Nowhere Islands. His scarlet hair was parted to the right, bangs barely touching his eyebrows as his hair curled at his neck, a small clump of hair deciding to work against the natural flow and stick out to the left on his head. Claus gave a sigh as he walked, listening to the screeches, howls and the other sounds that belonged to the Chimeras that inhabited this island. In Claus' arms was a brown hen who clucked up to the teenager, whom would occasionally give a nod of his head, as if holding a conversation with her.

Whatever it was the odd ginger and his hen were talking about was cut short by the strange girl who had crashed into him from behind. Instinctively, the teen lifted the hen above his head as he stumbled a bit from being caught mid-stride, and upon catching himself, he pulled the hen back down and turned to see who it was that had bumped into him.

"Intruding on my ho..." Claus arched his eyebrows, causing them to sink into his bangs briefly. She must be another outsider with that statement... He thought quietly as the hen clucked up to him, breaking the thought off. A crooked grin tugged at the corner of his lips as his hetero-chromatic eyes glanced over the girl before him once more. "Don't have to be sorry. I'm not mad." This much was true, as Claus had essentially gotten used to people coming back and forth in this world. "Name's Claus, who're you?"

Shifting uncomfortably unsure of what to make of this strange boy with green-red eyes and some bright orange-ginger hair named Claus she got up a little wobbly brushing the dust, and dirt off her black sweater and plaid skirt of the school uniform and pushing her blue scraggly disheveled hair so that it obscured her face she shifted her eyes downwards and quietly replied " I-I'm No-nobara Ibaragi, a-a-a student f-from the a-a-academy fo-for 'alices' sir! I-" Nobara stopped in her tracks realizing what she had just said to this stranger. She had just told him that she was a student from the academy! Slapping herself for her stupidity she realized that she shouldn't have said anything as he could very well be one of 'them' from the academy out here standing guard incase students such as herself do the taboo act of leaving school property or going to other worlds through the warphole in the keyhole of the High school division. Backing away slowly keeping a steady gaze on her Claus while readying her powers in the case that she would have to freeze him if he was one of the school officials so that he couldn't tell on her she shakily asked "A-a-are you one o-o-of 'his' lackeys?"

He sighed softly as he ran a hand across her feathers before he corrected himself. "By 'him', you mean Porky, then yes. If by the Dark Dragon, then yes. If by another outside of those two, then no."

Nobara nervously replied "Er by 'him' I-I mean th-the principal o-o-of the a-a-academy..." Carefully pausing Nobara flushed a little embarassed at making such quick accusations to this person. He wasn't even dressed the way an official should be and they're never made any attempts to disguise themselves, plus this is a completely different world from her own so what would someone not even dressed as an official know about those people. Straightening herself out she bowed her head slightly feeling really bad about making such accusations she in a rush replied "I-I'm really sorry sir! I really shouldn't have asked th-that question or e-e-even made such st-st-stupid ac-c-cusations! F-f-first I interrupt whatever yo-you were doing, th-then w-w-when you're being perfectly nice to m-me I make th-these kinds of judgements?!?! I-I'm really sorry about that! I-I-I'm ju-just a little suspicious e-e-ever since the 'incident' at my school. P-p-please accept my apologies sir." Brushing her messy hair aside and attempting to look as dignified as possible despite the fact that her hair still covered most of her face and eyes she quietly asked "A-and i-i-if it's not too much t-t-trouble, I-I-I wo-would like t-t-to ask what this place is?"

"In order..." Claus spoke softly, his head tilting a bit as he closed his eyes. "No, I don't even have an education to bother with an academy. No, I'm not upset with you making accusations, considering I still wear military uniform and quite honestly not all that human anymore." He then raised his left index finger, eyes parting open a bit as he looked off to the side. "And you're in the Sunshine Forest, twenty minutes outside of Tazmily Village on the Nowhere Islands."

Claus closed his eyes once more and arched his eyebrows as he lifted his head up. "I'm not the best welcoming party, but hey, welcome to the Nowhere Islands. Small world, consisting of two islands in an endless ocean and I would like to note you're lucky to be on this island rather than the other." This had almost become a routine for Claus to go through, but he didn't seem to mind it too much.

I only did the censor thing because I wasn't sure if you'd be okay with er um mature content because I know that some people don't like that kind of stuff and get mad at you if you don't censor it or whatever. Hmmm... I'm not particularly into Vocaloid because essentially they're just singing robots (not real robots but, they are considered to be so) and I like real people singers rather then Vocaloid but, I just like to use it as a reference to certain things sometimes as you saw with the Scissorloid reference since Miku tries to stab Luka because she's jealous that this one guy is paying more attention to Luka then to her. Ponies? BLah, I don't like cute stuff, even though I draw cute stuff I don't necessarily like it because it's just too sweet and I'm way too different personality wise to like that stuff. And I hope that you're not offended by this but, I like stuff with robotics and cybernetics and stuff and working with it over animals and such even though I am a girl. And dude porn especially child porn is just wrong... I don't understand why people like to watch that stuff. And yeah, true enough. Considering all that horrible traumatizing stuff and crap it would have to be pretty bad to creep you out! xD
