# About me
Hello, I'm PL1. I also go by Neon.While I have dabbled in artwork both traditional and digital, my usual medium is writing. I prefer to write fiction, dabbling in many genres. Most of my work here is in the fantasy or science-fiction category. A common theme in my writing involves culture shock and the ways different characters deal with groups of people that are vastly different from them. One of my personal favorite ways to reflect this is through the use of GT (giant-tiny) dynamics. The use of size difference provides a very visible way to depict the other differences between characters. It also poses a unique challenge in character interaction, world-building, and ethical struggles.
In addition to writing, I also will participate in roleplaying. The way I see it, text-based roleplaying is essentially a collaborative writing project. It enriches the writing experience for all parties involved and it provides good practice for consistent character writing. (I also play tabletop RPGs and get many ideas for new characters in this way.)

Bowman of Wellwood AnnouncementI've been so excited to come this far that now that I'm here, I hardly know what to say. Years and years of planning and writing and editing (and repeating those steps until I wanted to pass out) have finally come to fruition.
I'm so proud and pleased to announce that Bowman of Wellwood is now a published book!
From simple origins as a side project and something to muse about in between classwork and my other stories, Bowman and his friends have grown and developed more than I ever could have imagined. He used to be a nameless little muse, the figure I would imagine flying among the trees whenever I went on a road trip as a kid. Now, Bowman is all grown up, along with Jacob and Rischa and the rest.

Hm...I'm up for just about anything in a fantasy setting, though I will say reading some of your stuff (or rereading, in the case of the Bowman stories) has gotten me in the mood for something involving fairies...maybe a traditional fairy found by human, or something similar.
