Howdy! You gave me a lot of help on the forums a few weeks ago in regards to buying a new computer, and after another week of shopping I had decided to go with your advice--then HP retired the model in queston. I realize that you probably don't want people soliciting advice outside of the forums, and if so I shall apologize. But I was wondering if you were willing to dispense computer wisdom once again. And thought this config was reasonable?

Intel Core i7-2600 quad-core processor with Turbo-Boost, 9GB DDR3-1333MHz SDRAM [3 DIMMs]. h8t series. I have a student discount, so it comes out to $950ish. I have gone for the highest processor in my price range (as per your earlier advice, which made a good bit of sense), although I might consider upping the price for 12GB memory. But I wanted to see if you knew anything more about what I'm looking at with these specs at THAT particular price. I am very new to the computer market and very wary of "brand new" lines from any company, which tend to be more expensive than they're worth.
