LOL. Yea, I still remember you. Scroll down to National Porfolio Day --> [link] Definitely Go to NATIONAL PORTFOLIO DAY, DEC 5, at Emily Carr. Be there at 7am or 8am. Even if the even starts at 12pm, line up EARLY. The doors open at 6AM though if you wanna go earlier.
As for the portfolio, definitely get LIFE DRAWINGS in there. Make sure you have work that is self-directed not just class-directed. You can bring unfinished work too. Show that you have technical skills (like drawing, observation, shading). Conceptual art is encouraged too. BRING YOUR SKETCHBOOK, it shows off your creative process which is one of the criteria. If you don't already have one, buy a portfolio to put all your artwork in; you can get one from opus --> [link]
When you line up for the Emily Carr booths (there'll be other art school booths but go to whichever school you wanna go to first because the line ups are really long and time consuming) there'll be this criteria sheet that your reviewer will fill out. At the bottom there'll be options like "not qualified," "qualified," "Scholarship potential," etc. Your letter will come like a week or two later, informing you if you got in.

If they like your stuff, they'll give you a spot CONDITIONALLY. The letter will give you instructions and your ECUAD ID number. You have to make sure you pay the tuition and hand in your transcript, apply for classes, etc, all later on. Make sure to PASS high school (lol). When you apply or register, you have to hand in like 15 pieces of artwork and do an essay >.π: 0 β©: 0
