((It's just the book I'm reading. xD It's going over all this stuff about Indian history leading up to the British Raj and naturally it has to talk about all the invasions of culture and what not @.@ Question: Would you consider the Mughal Empire Persian or Turkish? A lot of the stuff leading up to it is of Turkish influence but the Mughals themselves were from central Asian... ))

Mughal Empire was niether Persian nor Turkish. Yes, they did use Persian as their administrative language. Mughals were just descendents of Turkic Mongolians C: *studied Indian/Pakistani history for over 10 years yuss*
Just so~ Persian invasions were mostly plunders xD *bad, bad orz*
Turks came for wealth and 'power' and that's why they established their rule in north India then, Arab invasions were actually their expeditions and were only in modern-day south Pakistan;;
But still despite all the bullcrap we in Pakistan think of Turks and specially Ghaznavids as our heroes <3 ]
