I found this so called proof on the internet, I have watched this guy for months analyzing and researching he's misinformation.
Yeah, its sad in my opinion.
www.youtube.com/channel/UCVJLE…
While he is mainly bigfoot, this guy went full conspiracy theorist one day. He's fans gobbled it up. Not even treys fans take him 100% as fact, yet trey is still able to make a good point. This guy just goes over stuff, makes the criticisms seem dumb and then uses it to support he's beliefs. No one has ever made a response video.
Second video (ON ALIENS CONSPIRACIES ABOUT THE FLAT WOODS MONSTER): www.youtube.com/watch?v=ymPyOg…

Trey always focuses on science fact and the realistic possibilities within nature and evolution, which Bob Gymlan seems to kinda lack in his videos. He takes the idea for the existence of cryptids and extraterrestrial life a bit to seriously and brings it over a manor you'd expect from a documentary or even a novel, which can also be based on fictional events. Not to get personal or throw hatred at him, but Bob seems to be somewhat of a wannabe, which is why frankly i'll just stick to the more ¨reliable¨ source. Thanks for sharing this and giving me some more insight on this subject.

Your welcome, your points are perfectly valid. He does not even show he's sources, which should be brought into suspect. If he wants to be academically honest, he should mention where he got them.
*I had to edit this cause grammar

Yeah, otherwise that could lead to academic dishonesty, yet he's fans do not care about that. Its actually sad how many people blindly follow him.

A shame it honestly is, but that just goes to show how people easily believe the word of a single person without knowing more about it beforehand or having doing some research themselves. That's where i'll end it on in my opinion and i'd kindly want to hear no more about him for the moment.

Yeah, me neither, I am making videos on cryptozoologists and cryptozoology and how it can be used as a neurological study (but I doubt thats my final idea)

Some of your art appears to be based on the work of others without any credit given.

I wouldn't directly say based on, i'm rather more inspired by those other artists and try to reference their creativity while also still keeping my own style to each design. It also makes each piece more recognizable amongst one another while trying to keep it varying.

I can point out numerous examples where you directly copied other artists. Your Dilong is copied from Portia Sloan Rollings. Your Moschops is copied from . Your Diprotodon is copied from Peter Trusler. Not giving credit to these artists is plagiarism.

PaleoFauna In reply to Carnoferox [2019-11-06 19:09:18 +0000 UTC]
Just because i don't mention them directly by name doesn't mean you have call me out as if i'm some kind of copycat, thief or even a scumbag. And again I love these artists and their illustrations, which is why i take inspiration and even at times replicate what they've made before.
You want a positive example look no further then my Alioramus which was had based on the one by DeinonychusEmpire .
And if your still going ridicule me in particular and try to ruin my passion for making these drawings and posting them. Sharing my interest with others, making a few friends as well and even trying to make somewhat of a positive impact (without me making a single dime of of these uploads) then you might as well critisize LITTERALLY EVERYONE on this platform for plagiarism goddamnit, you overcritical bastard.
GOOD DAY TO TOO YOU SIR!!!
(Btw, for Moschops you literally used a skeletal reconstruction which anybody could use as a refrence).

Copying without crediting is plagiarism plain and simple. You're claiming work that is not your own as your own. Not to mention it's extremely lazy and unoriginal. If you really respected these artists you would do the very easy task of mentioning them.

PaleoFauna In reply to Carnoferox [2019-11-06 19:55:20 +0000 UTC]
If i REALLY wanted to claim those illustartions as my own i would've put my signature and a watermark on it and brag about it, or better yet i could've downloaded those direct photo's of the internet, do the same things to them and then upload them on my account but i didn't since at the very least i want to share my own artistry skills.
And if you find style lazy and unoriginal, then that's your opinion i guess. To each their own, but I'm not accusing YOU of anything, right? neither do i ridicule the work you post, correct?
i'm hoping that you at least can respect THAT. And If not? Then this is where i'll end it, since it seems i'm getting nowhere with you and you keep repeating the same statement over, and over and over, and over... untill it spirals down into meaningless gibberish.

Carnoferox In reply to PaleoFauna [2019-11-06 20:05:25 +0000 UTC]
You're posting them on your personal DeviantArt page and not crediting the original artists. That is certainly claiming them as your own. Seriously, how hard is it to give credit?

PaleoFauna In reply to Carnoferox [2019-11-06 21:17:41 +0000 UTC]
Other people have already pointed out and commented that my pieces resemble those of other media/artists (trust me you're not the first one , buddy) and yet they don't mind that, they don't mind at all. I just happen to draw with the help of a lot online references, some being more well known and easily recognizable than others. These people have also gained clearly more than enough popularity I their craft that you can easily find all my inspirations on other platforms such as Google, Instagram, Tumblr and even on DeviantArt itself (as mentioned before). So why jump onto a bandwagon that makes you have to praise the original creators more while there's also someone attempting to represent a creation in their own, somewhat unique way?

Carnoferox In reply to PaleoFauna [2019-11-06 22:30:02 +0000 UTC]
The original creators are far more worthy of praise because they took the time to do research to reconstruct the animal and came up with original poses and color schemes. Unlike you, who takes what others have already created, makes an inferior copy, and calls it their own. Why are you so averse to properly giving credit when it is so easy to do?

PaleoFauna In reply to Carnoferox [2019-11-07 06:19:35 +0000 UTC]
If I were to give credit to each and every single original creator that my drawings are based on and that I have uploaded on my DeviantArt page than it would basically become a whole mess of names, sources and received rights. Which honestly is something i'm honestly not really that not fond of and in a way would kinda ruin the whole idea of getting recognized to begin with. It's especially difficult because of the fact that a lot of my drawings are also a combination of many inspirations put into one creature. So if you and other people want to know who the original creators are which my drawing is based upon? You can either ask by commenting or you can look them up yourselves.
There, it's plain and simple as that.
