Trying to find a certain discussion of bad art to show a friend and it popped up and looked interesting. I accidently hit the favorite button on my iphone and didn't know i was logged on.

(but just fyi this isn't the best resource for determining "bad art" as it's pretty outdated and at this point I disagree with a lot of these points. But if you do want some explanation, I'd be glad to provide some insight?)

True but it also helps people see if they should improve. Im only good at swords and mlp ponies(brony ftw). I only made an account to surf and comment here. While I have two friends that are leagues ahead of me, they are terrible at what I draw strangely. My kryptonite is feet and shadowing.

I don't think the question of If someone should improve is the issue, more like what they should improve on and how they should go about doing so.
And in that regard there's a lot of things in that journal (a lot but not all) that can be misleading to people if they follow that advice. In example,
9. Their characters' angle and direction are very odd. is vaguely phrased and confusing.
12. They have no idea what a layer is. most likely refers to digital art specifically and it's definitely not true that traditional artists who only use traditional mediums are "bad" artists.
23. They always draw cute characters. what an artist presents on the outside of his/her body of work, especially artists in a professional field may not represent the gamut of their artistic expertise, so criticizing someone based on their style alone requires more research and context before such accusations can hold value.
and so on and so forth. The meme as a whole feels like a butthurt artist preaching a "holier than thou" attitude to someone they feel can't change easily or quickly. I know a lot of people do it and in some cases it is appropriate but the "indicators" they give are pretty vague and misleading at times.
I don't want to go into too many specifics as I haven't seen your
artwork, but generally while drawing inspiration from other styles it's important to stick to fundamental drawing such as drawing from life and realism. That's the fastest way to improve; but you certainly don't have to follow my advice. It depends on what you want to take from drawing.

and besides my other dog Maggie(chi/shiz mix)wouldnt like it*mumbles about dogs ebilness*,and Riko my bros german/rot mix would scare it to death(he suprisingly aint all mean but dont know his own strenght)(even though she needs a friend her size,and dont get me started on the goats and cats! hehe
