you dont get it
my laptop restarted for updates and configuration last weekend
and when it reboots it gets as far as configuring 3 of 3 0% complete
then crashes every time
i can only use my laptop in safe mode and it only works as a plain mouse not a tablet the cursor stays in place no matter where i put the pen :"(

Try holding down the power button until it shuts off, then turn it on again. Don't choose safe mode.

-_-' safe mode doesnt become an option till after it crashes
after it crashes it say something went wrong with the system
yadyad
it gives me 3 diff safe mode options
and start normally
i start normally and it crashes again

Yeah, I MIGHT be able to get it running if you showed me. I've tinkered with my crashing, shitty ass laptop enough that I might be able to help.

But safe mode normally DOESN'T appear until you have a problem-- like if the system shuts down due to a power outage. That's like running a system check to make sure nothing went wrong. It kind of sounds like you caught a virus though. With normal computer problems, they should always be able to start normally UNLESS something, like a virus, is preventing it from doing so. Either that or you unknowingly moved some critical files your PC can no longer locate in order to properly boot up.

i admit i have a virus cause my norton couldn remove it and i wasnt able to remove it manually...it always said failed it was a boot up virus it was fine untill my comp decided to update itself

Virus' are hard to remove completely, and the damage can be sometimes irreversible. Norton sucks in my opinion. And computers update automatically, and try to restore themselves in the process, which probably sent it to a missing or corrupt file.
