Things are getting better for me, but I'm under the stress of being a host at my sweet sixteen. :I I decided to have a party because I figured being around people would help me out, but I'm not GOOD with people, see. So I'm a bit anxious about how it's gonna turn out... only three people are coming, but still.

Sometimes pushing those things off to the side is the best you can do, really. I have a month left! And it can't come any slower! The weather outside is usually pretty sunny, and I have lost just about all concentration in school.
Happy early birthday! Sweet sixteen? Wow! I hope you have a good year when it comes~! Yeah, hosting the party seems like it would really put both a damper on things and be stressful as hell. More stress isn't very fun. :/ I hope it goes well though! And I'm sure that if you talk and act like you normally do, then you'll be fine! Hanging out with people is always a good thing, but it can be reallyyy hard to manage. I completely understand the not good with people thing, btw. Most times I tend to stand next to a wall and think about what I COULD say to people, but then I never do? Lovely, that. My best advice for you on not being anxious about hosting is to make a plan of action for the party and then to meditate a bit before the party. I find that helps a bit. My mum says that she had to learn how to be a good host, so I think you're fine. Your friends are just expecting you, and are there to celebrate you, right? 'Snot a giant evil scientist plot where you know none of them and are all being forced to work together. :S Least, I hope it's not!
My 16th isn't for a while (mid-summer) but I have inklings that my family's planning something. Dunno what, but they haven't had a party for me and my twin for a while, so it stands to reason that SOMETHING will happen. Any ideas on what they could be planning?
I really liked Xion too~! Her story really made me sad though. She was amazing and BA and then...no one remembers how amazing she was. And she did it all to protect her friends. Something about that just seems overwhelmingly sad, Y'know?
I can't do the tactical fighting part of the game. I find it really difficult to mash the combos and the special decks instead of just mashing attack. That, and I had no idea how to fix the camera, so it was always a terrible terrible angle! 
I'll gladly play games that are for the WII and the 3DS, but I think that I should really only stick to handhelds and a console instead of multiples. I don't adapt well to learning new ones!
I know man! In Dream Drop Distance, I'm only in the second world and I've just started grinding levels because I can't beat the bosses! It's terrible and very frustrating! I'm a level 20 in a level 10 area because of it! But just you wait, soon the boss will die by my hands!! Mwahahaha~!

Same here! The sun stopped after about three days, though... but it's so much easier to wake up for school when you see the sun on the horizon!

It was/is definitely sad. I think that was the first moment I literally BAWLED at in terms of Kingdom Hearts? Until I re-played the games of course. lol
That's the worst of it, the fact that no one remembers her. If it wasn't for her Roxas wouldn't have left the Organization!
The story would have been COMPLETELY different.
The ds games do tend to be easier. DDD had super fun and easy combat!
When I play through the game I'll be sure to think of you and how hard you worked at it.
I personally think that when Kingdom Hearts 3 comes out the combat will be a lot easier (for you and everyone). Because you notice the later games like DDD and BirthΒ By Sleep added different combos and strategies- more options, really. More effective button mashing? XD

Speaking of the sun stopping, I woke up this morning to FROST! FROST! Can you believe it? There was frost and it was down to about 40 (f) when I got outside! So much for Summer here! True true true, the sun makes it a lot easier to actually get up and get moving. Over the winter, I tend to forget just how much I actually enjoy it, Y'know?

Umm We had a Party (a really big one?) when we were about 7? It was fairy themed! Everyone got to dress up as faries and my mom decorated the house like it was a forest and we had candycorn pumpkins and got necklaces filled with 'pixie dust'. It was really really fun! (Especially since we jumped on the couch when she wasn't looking! Definitely the best part!) But she doesn't do huge parties all that often--They cost a LOT of money. However!! She has hinted about taking us to a really fancy restaurant called the Melting Pot that serves about 5 courses with a whole bunch of dipping sauces and fondue and you can cook it at your table. It sounds really really cool! (Me and SwirlsOfDarkness are more homebodies anyways, so we're not all that mad at not getting a big sixteen)Β
Man, if they bought us a car, pigs would be flying! We don't even have our 50 hours in yet! In fact, we've really only driven 2! A car would be fantastic, but I don't think they're swinging for that yet. Sadly. Who knows, maybe you'll get a car before the year is over!? Wouldn't that be cool?
It's really disappointing that such an important character isn't all that remembered. She's just a figment and some KH fans haven't even heard of her! You're right though, without Xion, the story would have had a much different ending! (Maybe Roxas becoming the Rogue? Or Axel leaving bc of the Organization's plans for him? Who knows!)
I dunno, DDD has that annoying thing where if you press the wrong button while comboing, you do the wall jump/enemy swing around thing. But other than that ,I like the combat system a lot more!Β
What even is the story in KH3? I haven't been following it all that much, so I'm a bit out of the loop! Also, ALL THE BUTTON MASHING SHALL BE ACHIEVED! No one can stop the button mashers!Β

Oh yeah! I've heard fire emblem is really fun! You can discover all sorts of stories and what not, and marry your characters too, right? I couldn't get a handle on the fight system though, so sadly I never really played it through.Β
My summer has been pretty chill! Just got done with the summer assignments (To be fair, I took a while on both of them) and so now I have become a bit of a vegetable waiting for band to start. How about yours?

I know that from a business standpoint it's genius. But for the convenience of their fans? Not so much. Like, if they had told us they were going to make it again on Playstation systems sooner- I dunno. :/ I know at least I would've been able to save plenty of money, you know? Starting tomorrow, most likely, I will be spending the remainder of July with my older sister.... Have you heard of Leavenworth, Washington? We'll be going there are some point. It's a little German-inspired town in the mountains. It's pretty neat.

Yeahh, they really need to consider the convenience of the fans a bit more in their announcements for the consoles. At least with games like MarioKart or something, the game follows the progression of the consoles-but that's bc the company owns the console. Does Ubisoft/Square Enix own a specific console/have rights to one? That could maybe explain all the jumpiness in the consoles?? Wait wait wait--are they remaking all of them? Or did you get rid of your old games?Β
That, and schools starting soon, so there'll be even LESS time for all the art and games and reading! That's a really long break from KH1- if I tried to do that, I wouldn't even know what the heck I was doing when I stopped! Nah man, I don't think you have problems, I think that's just a human thing. Distractions! Everywhere! Can't go a day without 'em. Did you finish it? Or is it still on the To Do list for the year? (I have so many things on a todo list for the year- write more, read more, write chapter 1 of a book, write out the plot, finish watching all the KH games, watch a whole ton of anime ((Friends want me to)) and then Try my hand at Tales of the Abyss).Β
Who's your husband? I love it when games go the extra mile to put great dialouge and make you care about the characters to the point of turning you into a shipper, it adds a whole bunch of depth to the player's experience, yeah? Well, I actually DID have the game, but I just hated the fight system, so I gave it to a guy-friend who really wanted to play it. 
Yeah, I don't MIND them so much, bc they give me something to do during summer (that said, I'm one all for year-long schooling) but they're just so...Essays. I am not a fan of the essays. (Especially now that I have to start preparation for SATs and whatnot!
I'm a squash, actually. <---None of the squash icons led to anything, so I am now an eggplant. Yeah, I'm in a show band, which basically means marching band and a huge show that we learn to go to contest basically just before school actually starts, and we continue to go to contest until winter.Β
Ohh...fleas don't sound fun. We've never had fleas at my house (I think mainly due to my phobia of bugs and my insistence of getting the house sprayed with pesticide every summer). But really, on the first day? Jeez! Least it wasn't later though, better to get those things sorted out soon right? I would not like to march in 97 degree heat, I'm telling you that! Mainly, it's stayed around 80-but it's awfully humid to make up for it. 
!!! German architecture is amazing! I hope you have fun with your family there! Our last vacation we went up to Michigan for a ski trip! Everyone was so nice, and the food was SO GOOD! (I love good food--I blame the french side of the family) No we had macNcheese and I kid you not, it tasted of actual heaven on a spoon. We fought over it. (I lost, my little brother got into the fridge before I could finish mine).Β

They're remaking all of them. Save DDD. Yet.
Kingdom Hearts 1.5 is HD Remaster and IS FINAL MIX of Kingdom Hearts 1. First time released in the US. It consists of Chain of memories and DAYS as well.
2.5 has the Final Mix of Birth by Sleep, 2, and Re:Coded.
Β That one comes out in December. I'm so excited.
And they must own rights to a console... all of Final Fantasy 13 was on Xbox.Β

To be fair, DDD is a really recent game in comparison to everything else. BUT THOSE GRAPHICS! ALL THE INGAME GRAPHICS WILL BE REVAMPED! AHHHHHHHH!!

God the story is so hard to remember and figure out without the aid of wikis right now...The timeline is so jacked! (It is in EVERY game series soo....) Man, you'll get better! I mean, I look at my art from a year ago and am absolutely repulsed by it. Art is one of those things that takes a whole hell of a lot of time to get a single notch higher in skill, if that makes sense. 'Sides, I'm sure it wasn't as bad as you think!

How do you level ground characters? That would SUCK! Especially since when I play games I try to grind levels really early so I can just hit things instead of being tactical button smashing. Much more fun. Buy seals? To level? That is the stupidest thing I've ever heard. You need to just be able to level! Β

*Groans dramatically* Final Mix is, like, when they add new crap because they didn't get it right the first time. :I At least, that's how I see it. New cutscenes, and weapons, and such.

Well.. I've never been good at explaining and this story in particular I find difficult to do.
But I can give you a list of the games in story-order??:
- Birth by Sleep (Takes place 10 years before Kingdom Hearts 1)
-Kingdom Hearts 1
- Kingdom Hearts:358/2 Days (Takes places just after Kingdom Hearts 1, during Chain of Memories and just before the start of Kingdom Hearts 2)
- Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories (Re: Chain of memories is the same game. It was just originally on the Gameboy system, and they renamed it for some reason when they made it for the Playstation 2)
- Kingdom Hearts 2
- Kingdom Hearts: Re-Coded ( THERE IS NO POINT TO PLAY OR WATCH THIS GAME. It makes so little difference. I really don't know why they made this game. Pay no attention to it)
- Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance ( I believe it takes place, at most, a year after Kingdom Hearts 2. It ends RIGHT BEFORE the beginning of Kingdom Hearts 3. According to Nomura.)
But how would you know I'm good at stuff?
Kingdom Hearts 3 will likely be out by 2017. Likely in 2016. Maybe 2015. Nomura said it will be soon; and they're putting a lot of work into it- to make up for how long it's taken.
Well, I misworded what I meant. You can level up characters to level 20, generally. That's the highest level. Then you use seals to change or upgrade their class. Like, turning a Knight into a Great Knight. Or change them into a new class entire- like an Archer into a Mage.
I 'level grind' by buying Reeking Boxes. They summon enemies for you so you can fight them. And gain experience.You get them at the beginning of chapter 4- they unlock in stores.
Hah, well that helps boost my moral.
DRAGONS HOARD AWESOME STUFF. THAT'S WHY EVERYONE DIES TRYING TO STEAL IT. SO HUSH.
It's always good to have diversity.
