it has ;v; around a year actually since we last talked I think. at least on deviantart. We might have chit chatted every now and then on skype but now a days I use skype to video call my boyfriend.
I want to practice other things but I had gotten into a "comfortable" spot where I wasn't challenging myself and I'd get frustrated trying to draw anything else. I'd love to see them <3 o3o I've noticed I learn more from observation or looking at drawings rather than someone breathing down my neck about it.Β
college is.... stressful. Β I still don't have any idea about what I want to study specifically and that alone is stressing me out because the longer it takes me to decide the more time I'm stuck in university without a degree which'll cost me more money than is necessary.

Golly, that is such a long time. I hadn't realised it had been that long! Haha. That's similar to me, I really only use Skype to talk to my friend, but even then I sometimes avoid it. She can be a little too clingy sometimes.
Did you get out of that rut? If it helps, we could challenge each other. Perhaps set each other a challenge every fortnight or so? As we're quite different in some ways and that'll definitely push our boundaries. As for the link, I'll have to give you it a little later on, as I'm not currently home.
I know how you feel about that. I can look at a ton of tutorials, but they haven't helped all too much. Actually seeing someone apply it to an artwork is much more efficient. Oh, I couldn't stand someone doing that! Haha, I'd refuse to work.
Ah, I can understand that. I dropped out of college, so I can't imagine how stressful it must be for you. Are you able to study a subject in the meantime while you figure out what you want to do? So that way you won't leave with nothing but a ton of debt?

Well, I haven't been drawing so I'm not sure if I have or not. I'd have to try drawing. There's some freebies on solia that I still have to do that I haven't done that were requested months ago which I feel bad for. I'd probably do those first before doing my own projects.Β
I enjoy looking at tutorials because it gives me a basic idea but since everybody draws differently you can't have the same exact results. Like one of my biggest flaws is coloring and knowing which shades to use for which types of lighting. Problem is, You can look at coloring tutorials but you won't be able to create your own coloring style or way of doing things without practice.
Honestly as it stands now with college, I'd much rather leave, get a job, slowly pay off the loans I have now and just go to school later when I have a better idea of what I want to do and have a stronger work ethic.

bleh...sometimes my computer doesn't like to load the videos...so i have to do something else for HOURS until one little music vid loads so i can watch it...=w=...lol X3 i beat the second game in around two weeks...but..i had barrowed it from my friend...but...i love the game so much..that..i wanted to play it again and again...>w<...so i offered my friend's sister that i'd help her defeat Richter..since i had already killed him three times...but the problem with my friend's sister is that she's usually genis so she's not all that"in your face" with Emil...she usually doesn't interrupt his spell casting..so the flamey ball things start swirling around him...but then it's practically nearly impossible after that...;w;.i kept telling her, "do sword rain: Alpha!" cause it immediately interrupts his spell casting..=w=....but she's too stubborn to listen X3...

lol X3 it's boring to them cause they're not the ones running around..and yeah...usually i have to play FF13 or Tos...games like that when dad isn't home..cause whenever he sees me playing them he's all like,"I don't want to watch this, turn it off or play something else." and it's bullshit cause i have to watch all the stupid games he plays...and sometimes i even have to kill the final bosses for him.
