yo, i saw your comment on like frob boy's page. aaron i think? i saw you were majoring in law and such! i am thinking of being a lawyer, if nursing doesnt work out. how is it so far? is it super challenging? how far are you? (sorry for popping up weirdly lol but you seem chill enough and friendly enough for me to ask this uwu)

No, it's perfectly fine! I'm always up for talking about school and stuff

I'm enjoying it so far! I'm not too far into it (I'm a sophomore), but the classes are less challenging than you think for Criminal Justice. So far, It's mostly classes in how law enforcement works, since in order to do most of the actual policing things, you would go into a job specific program (Mine is the general one, Which I can take anywhere). Basically, my degree is the study of law enforcement procedures, the legal system as a whole (In terms of where things sit structurally), types of police work and systems. It's been really eye-opening to see how police operate! (I actually thanked the officer who gave me a parking ticket once for doing his job!)

It's rather fun, and I'm enjoying learning different parts of our society, especially with law enforcement being so scrutinized these days. It's really interesting to me because it is a good look into the other side of the argument! we've done several lectures on things such as "Use of force", process of arresting and going to trial, what is required for an arrest, ect.

I'm actually planning on transferring schools (Same program), because there is a school in my state (About the same distance from my current school home, just the opposite direction), that specializes in "Crime Analysis", so a lot of crime tracking, and helping with coming up with solutions for crime problems.

I'm really not sure what I'm personally going to do with it, but in terms of law, I know there is quite a bit of work involved if you are planning on going to law school. But so long as you have a strong interest in the subject, it's a lot easier. (I haven't had any issues in any of my Criminal Justice courses, and I'm a TERRIBLE STUDENT! barely graduated HS, just had a good ACT score) IDK if I COULD get into law school, but I actually considered being a lawyer for years. It's why I decided to get a criminal justice degree. I figured having a working knowledge of law enforcement could help my career a lot!

I wish you luck with nursing though! My mother has been an RN for over 25 years (She went to tech school, and just got a 2 year degree, currently she's a Dialysis nurse) , and I know that while it can be hard, it's rewarding, a rather high paying job (Most medical field positions are from what I've seen), and very in demand!

oh wow, that's great :) (Smile) . I am trying to be a hospice nurse, caring for the terminally ill in their final days. I am doing good so far, I'm just so bad at math lol. thankfully it's not a huge requirement. I can get 2.0 average in math but in science, I need a 3.0, kinda sucks but understanding. I have a 4.0 in English classes (I bet 5$ I could literally be drunk and high on acid or something strong and still get an A on an essay. English was the easiest subject for me, kindergarten work.) I did terrible in HS since I didn't care enough about it. I also began work at 17 and worked overtime and closing shifts so I always fell asleep in class lol.
