What do you think of this Tardis console? www.deviantart.com/harnois75/a…
It's a hypothetical 90's version so it's instantly got my approval. But since you've got more experience with Tardis consoles, I was curious?

Just viewed the website 'Doctor Who TV' and spotted one of your old uploads was used on a post back in 2014 on the site. Not sure if your aware of it, so just thought I'd let you know

Edward-SMITH-28 [2019-07-28 02:03:16 +0000 UTC]

I would like a picture like the one with the Three War Doctors, but with the Shalka Doctor and his wine glass in the center, with Jaime Murray instead of McGann in the left, and with Thomas Brewster instead of John Hurt in the right, and with the 12th Tardis on the background.

Can you make this picture for me, please Mr. Hanley ?

Sorry- I was doing a very literal response to the question.Β  Basically saying, "you probably are capable of making a request". Β  Bad joke.

I never do unpaid requests.Β  I don't post about it often here, but all my fan art type stuff's been funded by commission or Patreon for the last couple years.Β

Just wanted to say it was super cool you did a drawing of Bell and Osgood from the Classic Doctor Who. I've always liked Bell.Β

Also super-love you did the movie TARDIS and the secondary TARDIS from Tom Baker's time as those are my favorite TARDIS designs!

Another awesome work, at this rate you will run out of control rooms. I like the stain glass ceiling, and the angled sides. I thought the Nautilus saloon, was that your intention or just coinsidence?
If I may suggest, a view from the exit alcove showing the fourth wall, to compliment this work.
Again great work, keep on doing what do.

You likely have better things to do than read my comments, but I must give praise for your rendition of the TVM console room.
I thought that the Silurian Control room was
outstanding, but these two pieces are beyond comparison.
I wonder what you will do next?
Thank you for sharing your art.

Don't know if your already aware of this or not, but I recognized this upload of yours near the end of an 18 minute long YouTube Video called 'Best & Worst of THE TIME WAR (Doctor Who Retrospective)' by YouTuber Samuel Davis, uploaded on Thursday just gone www.youtube.com/watch?v=CXmRes…

I just wish my work was as popular with Titan Comics editors.

Love your work with doctor who. Not to rush you or anything, but you forgot to do one for Sylvester McCoy and Matt Smith in their TARDIS. I am trying to add them all to my favorites.Β

I GREATLY appreciate the enthusiasm, but I promise ya I didn't "forget" anything.Β  The McCoy and Smith ones (like the Whittaker one and a couple others) are already partially completed and'll probably show up eventually, real life, time and good luck allowing.

The best way for people to speed it up is back my Patreon account, which helps compensate (some) for the time I put in on these.Β  (I'd add a link, but it's on hiatus till next year when I have time for it again.)Β

So to read why you disabled your comments. I wanted to ask you about the inspiration for the scroll work the the Tardis library rails. Reminds me or the swirls from the Hartnell era titles.
P.S. loved the Tegan and Nyssa also, any plans for "Mawdryn Undead" outfits?

Thanks!Β  Yeah, I finally decided to pull the plug on comments for fan stuff.Β  Had 'em on for 9 years and most comments were delightful/ interesting, but there's a negativity in some parts of fandom (across a lot of things, not just Who) that's gotten to be a bore.Β  It was never criticism of my work (and I'll be leaving comments on for my original stuff)- just a predictable stream of people crying to me about how much they hate the show now- like I'm Controller of the BBC or something. Β Β

But thanks!Β  I'll always have a soft spot for that team that I watched from the beginning, never missing an ep (before that it was just sporadic eps with Tom- I wasn't a regular viewer till "Creature from the Pit" of all things).Β

Ahhhhhhhhhhh. I understand. The "This doctor was great and this one sucked and should have never been done." I admit there are doctors I did not like but I am certainly not one to be like those guys. I admit I have not watched ALL the doctors. Just a couple of episodes here and there. I never got deep into the show till The Doctor met Nyssa, Tegan and Adric. That's when it got interesting to me. I think it was something to do when Tegan and Neesa were running about the Tardis lost. The typical "Okay WFT? It was only a Call Box. What's with all the rooms?" And of course Tom made it interesting. I liked Adric because he brought in a sense of teenage wonder and rebel that the show never had prior.

Totally agree, " I am not a Fanboy, I am a real fan. ". Just made that up, might pit it in my profile.
I take the same attitude, if you don't like a product complain to the manufacturer.
5th era was when I was more interested in the companions, you can probably guess which ones.
Will go and check our your work soon.
