The young man was in the Kalos Region, after a long trip, he stopped at a nearby Pokemon Center in Luminose City, getting his Pokemon healed, he sended out his Samurott. "Welp buddy, this is Kalos." The Unovian said to his Pokemon. "Now, lets get out of the Poke Center and see this big city eh?" Both trainer and Pokemon exited the Center. Being awe-strucked by the sights in the city. As they walked around.

Shauna loved Lumoise City.
The chocolate haired teenager practically spent majority of her journey in that location. She just couldn't resist the five star cuisine, the amazing clothing stores, and the various trainers from all over the world that she had the pleasure of meeting. What was there not to love?
Currently, the aspiring photographer was making her way through the large city. "I'm parched!" She declared, causing her Fennekin to giggle a bit. The fire fox rested peacefully on her shoulder, enjoying the sunlight.
"Hm. I would go to the Juice Shoppe, but I think that the Pokémon Center has some Fresh Water. That sounds great, right about now." Water was always one of the lesser bought items in Lumoise, though one of the most needed. Due to the immense population and high temperatures during certain seasons, inhabitants were always getting dehydrated.
After navigating her way through the mass crowds, Shauna rested herself on a bench. She wiped a bit of sweat from her forehead. "The crowds get bigger everyday..." The photographer laughed to herself.

"Well, I guess you're telling me that." The young man was sitting on the same bench petting his Samurott. Giving it an Oran Berry. "Sorry to intrude on you like that mademoiselle. My name's Jeff. And this is my Samurott." The Samurott, still eating the berry his trainer gave him looked over, with a little dorky look on its face. "...really?"

"Oh, Hi!" Shauna said, offering a wide smile. Fennekin hopped onto her lap, looking over at Samurott curiously. The water type was so large in comparison to her! The petite fire fox wondered how strong the other was...
"My name is Shauna, and this is Kinniekins!" The photographer introduced, happily. "You must be from a different region, right?" She inferred, looking at Samurott just as curiously as her partner. "Do you like it here, so far?"

The Samurott then swallowed the Oran Berry, then looked at the Fire Fox, Fennekin then at it's trainer. "Oh absolutely! This region is beautiful! Just different then the Unova region by far. Not to say the different Pokemon here as well." He turns his attention to the little Fire Fox himself. "I'm gonna ask that you chose Fennekin, right?"

"I've always wanted to go to Unova." Shauna stretched her arms. "I think that once I save up enough money, I'm going to rent a summer home in Undella Town!" The photographer smiled, placing Fennekin atop her hair. The fire fox giggled. "Fenne!"
"Of course! Fennekin was so cute and to be honest, she chose me. She walked right up to me and barked shyly. I think that was her way of asking if she could come with me." The chocolate haired teenager couldn't control the happiness that welled up inside of her from the memory. "Who did you choose, in Unova?"

"You better. Undella Town is my hometown." He then petted his Samurott again, of that question she asked. He thoughed, then adjusted his hat, showing a number on it. A 92. "Well. That's a long story to tell..." So he told the girl the story of his life. From him being a 'champion' of the racing world, to his unfortunate accident. And about his father giving him a Growlithe. "...that Growlithe, was my first Pokemon. But still. They wouldn't let me go in Nuvea Town without one. And that's where this guy caught my eye. We've never seperated scence."

"Then I definitely, will!" Shauna exclaimed.
The chocolate haired teenager listened intently to Jeff's story. "Really? That must have been...really hard for you." Her emerald eyes appeared sad at the mention of his accident. To have something like that occur and not be able to chase his dream anymore...Shauna wondered how the other could do it. If she went blind one day and wasn't able to see the world anymore...She didn't know what she would do. She just knew she'd be miserable for the rest of her life. Still, for the other to be upbeat, he had to have much willpower.
Shauna admired that.
"I'm glad that you met Growlithe, then! Friends always make you feel better...I know mine always do." Shauna meant that statement with all of her heart. She'd been through very much with her friends, things that would test the very bonds of their friendship.
They made it through, though. They were still as close as before, if not stronger.
She glanced at his hat, for a moment. "You must be a really strong trainer, right?"

"Well... I guess my adventure wouldn't start without that accident. It just seems like yesterday it happened too. But, it's been five years it had happen. But you know what? I didn't and maybe not have started in the first point." He pets his Samurott again. "But you know what? That's where it all began. I got all eight badges in Unova, all eight in Kanto, five in Johto. And seven in Hoenn and Sinnoh. And I got three here. So. Yeah, I guess that is powerful enough. My Pokemon has been with me to this day. Especially Arcanine. He and everyone else are my best friends everywhere we go."

Matthew huffed a bit from a journey around the Kalos region. Maybe it was time for a break. He sat under a tree and yawned a bit looking at the sky for the while being.

It was a beautiful day to the chocolate haired teenager.
Though a little winded from traveling throughout the entirety of Lumiose City, Shauna was able to capture many different scenes. Furfrou of different coats, Litleo getting nutured by Pyroar and People making silly faces with their Pokémon...It warmed Shauna's heart beyond beliefs to get things like that on camera.
With her Fennekin resting comfortably on her shoulder, she wandered around a nearby forest area. "I sure am, hungry!" Shauna proclaimed, her stomach growling on cue. She knew that she forgot something! Buying Lumoise Galettes was a must! She sighed in defeat. Navigating back through the city wasn't going to happen...
She noticed a figure nearby, standing up in excitement. She loved to meet people. "Hm?"

Matthew had taken a long time for roaming around. He finally sat down. It had been a while since he visited the profesdor or saw any of his other friends. He hoped maybe he would see Tierno, Trevor or the girls soon.

"Oh! Matthew!" Shauna exclaimed, running up to her friend. She hadn't seen the other in a while and was eager to catch up. The chocolate haired teenager smiled widely. "How have you been? I've taken lots of pictures, lately!"
Fennekin seemed excited as well, greeting Matthew with a nose rub.

Matthew sighed as he closed his eyes for a moment. After hearing the familiar voice he looked up. Shauna! He smiled getting up and stretching out. "Hey! I've been alright! Now that Team Flare's disbanded, me and my gang are already preparing to grow stronger! I've even taken on the Pokemon Champion herself!" he smiled. Matthew always felt rather happy around Shauna. Even though they were best friends... for some reason he just felt like an older brother. "Have I ever shown you my pokemon at all yet? I'm pretty sure I have once before." he chuckled.

"Wow, really?" The chocolate haired teenager seemed just as energetic as Matthew did. In fact, she really was. He was one of the people who she started her journey with...and not to mention some of the moments they shared on their adventure. The spectacle of the fireworks being the favorite of the photographer. Even though she hadn't gotten to take a picture of it...the memory was just as vivid as the day it happened.
"I know! I'm so glad that Team Flare is disbanded. I won't ever forget how they chased me from the Poke Ball factory." She frowned. They nearly scared her Fennekin to death that day.
Shauna's eyes seemed to sparkle. "Maybe...but I'd love to see them all again! I'll show you mine too!"

"Well... okay!" he chuckled. He pulled out his first one. Tossing it slowly his Pidgeot came out. He pulled out another one with his Charizard, two Luxury Balls with a Gardevoir and Gyarados. A Duskball holding his Steelix but held his Master Ball.

"Wow, Matthew!" Shauna gasped, after observing the entirety of his team. "You've gotten so strong!" The photographer praised. She took notice of his hesitance with the master ball, but held herself from asking. She didn't want to invade his personal space, though she was really interested as to what his Master Ball could hold.

"And lets not forget..." he smiled tossing his Master Ball down. It stayed still. Rumbling once, twice, three times, violently, jumping, it opened. The large legendary Bird of Death Yveltal came out making it's cry out loud

Shauna was nearly knocked off of her feet at the appearance of the legendary Bird of Death. Yveltal was beautiful...those were the only words she could think of to describe the intricate ebony and rouge patterns that decorated the dark type's body.
And the fact that Matthew had caught a legendary!
"Matthew...you are amazing!" She praised, clasping her hands together in a feeling of excitement. She wasn't intimidated by Yveltal in the slightest, as she believed all Pokémon were friendly in their own way.
"Hi Yveltal, my name is Shauna!" She introduced. "It's an honor to meet you."

"Well I kinda had no other choice. If I didn't, we'd all be dead...." Yveltal remembered the other from it's egg how she ran away, but her face was still there. It leaned down sniffing her body and hair curiously to identify her giving a nudge at her tummy before giving out another cry and laying down.

"But, still, I think if Yveltal didn't want you to catch it, wouldn't have let you. I think you were chosen Matthew!" Shauna smiled at her friend. She had a feeling-no she knew Matthew had to be chosen for this. He always did have a special aura about him...she knew from the very start he was to do great things.
The chocolate haired teenager giggled a bit from the large Death Bird. It was absolutely adorable, in it's own way. Shauna couldn't help but think how Yveltal must feel at the moment...If the legendary pokemon only awoke every few thousand years, then it must've seen so many changes in the world and met so many different people. But...did wouldn't that mean that all of Yveltal's companions would disappear over the years too..? She shook her head at the sad thought.
Shauna decided to clear her mind. "Hi, there Yveltal!" She smiled, before withdrawing a Sitrus berry and placing it before the majestic dark type.

"Well my team isn't weak at all" he chuckled smiling. "No, I was kinda... rushed into it. In all honesty, if I hadn't Team Flare would have this world gone in the matter moments, and at this very moment, we wouldn't even exist if Arceus only knew what happened." he sighed. The Yveltal bent down at the other glaring for a moment spraying a warm burst of air from it's nos as it nipped at the berry. It was just curious of her for the moment of all things.
