Absolutely! The distinct look in its art design is really going to make it stand out I think. One of the problems I see with many modern games is that they tend to look very similar to each other with everything trying to look overly realistic, utilizing the same rendering techniques.
It's nice seeing something where you can clearly see that the art design had a higher priority again!

Oh you bet. Our Creative Director, Todd Coleman, is very art centric and cares very deeply about the visual experience. Not at the expense of gameplay of course, but he is definitely a stickler for details. You should check out Allison Theus' work: beastofoblivion.deviantart.com…

And yeah, I've read some of it on Kickstarter and also found a few articles about it. It's great to someone so passionate about their work, makes me certain that the project is definitely going to be a success! Do they still happen to look for composers by the way? I know it's unlikely seeing how far it's progressed already, but I'd absolutely love working on a project as passionate as this!

Famous, huh? Wow, that just about made my week. Thank you so much for appreciating my work. And believe me, I am doing a lot right now to make it happen and get seen. It's just all in the production stages.
Ha, its unfortunate in a way that some of my best pieces are the property of the game company I work for and cannot be shown because of copyrights/patent violation. But I can't really complain. I know very few artists that are lucky enough to have a full time art job. Just wish I could share more.
