Ah i see. Great avatar by the way, that's cool. I wish I could relax, I'm in my last year of a Creative Writing degree and now have two weeks to finish my dissertation and a 3000 word essay and start revising... ugh.

I think it was Sub61, no idea really. You do writing, I had an idea a while ago. Are there any small time magazines or papers in Manchester? I reckon if you got a job in one of them, even part time or something you could blag free gig tickets, say your reviewing the show. I thought about trying that ages ago, but never did. Think it would work?

Yeah I don't see why it wouldn't work! I don't really know of any other than PULP magazine that MMU publish, but to be frank its rubbish! There's probably more but I've never really looked, I've been too busy with my degree!

Sorry for the late reply, I've been frantically revising for my final exams for the last week or so. I didn't go to the memorial night no, primarily cos I knew it'd be packed to the rafters and I couldn't be arsed queuing for hours to get to the bar and so on. Did you go?

Yeah I was a regular Jilly's goer for a couple of years, we went every Friday. But I hadn't been for over 6 months, because to be honest it's gone downhill massively over the last few years due to managerial and staffing problems. Ie: it was run by complete idiots. Hence why they've gone bust while other places have seen profits sky rocket - no-one wants to go there any more! It is a bit of an end of an era though!

Yer me too, but I realised I started to get bored and go home early. It was nice tho while it lasted, probably saw you there a few times. It had so much potential, we shoulda run it, would have been immense! Where is a good rock club to go now? I tried that new place on the monday bit lousy..... Shame about it.

Perhaps you did! Small world. To be honest i've kind of moved away from the rock scene a bit, I tend to head to Satan's if I go out at all!! Uni work and poor-student-itis have left me unable to go out much. Are you referring to Sub61? I went with some friends on the opening night and the place was empty! Good venue... just not enough people!
