Hi Adrian, thanks for faving the "Bleak House..." photograph. Perhaps not my favourite submission and certainly not the cheeriest landscape I've captured but I did like recreating the effect of an old vintage post card. I clearly remember equally unwelcoming views on cards, with slightly distorted colour tones and browned edges, outside seaside shops when I was a kid...

I like those kinds of places hahaha ^-^ thats sound interesting, I have some National Geographic animal magazines from the mid 70s and I like the type of photography very much, they are very dark colors and with a lot of contrast
