heyy,
sorry for the late reply, i haven't been on in a while. Thankyou for suggesting Hillary, it would be great to get to know other people who like to paint/draw who are my age (or approximately anyway) :) (Smile) I'll definatly add her.
Life drawing is going very well, we had our last lesson (for the time being) about 2 weeks back :( (Sad) but i still feel i learnt a considerable amount, as my observation of things has greatly improved (i think :P (Lick) ). The lesson on foreshortening was particularly useful, i really got a feel for drawing things with a bit of depth to them. All of my life drawings are going to be submitted as part of my art coursework for my A-level, for extra credit :) (Smile)
How is art going for you? Have you done any more amazingly beautiful watercolours? (i just love them)

Thanks Siddi! I am trying to finish two paintings at present. We are in Monterey for the week so I hope to spend some time painting while I am here -- I have boarded the Basset Hounds so I have a lot more time to paint! Margaux's other eye is beginning to fail though so I am checking my phone constantly for messages from the kennel. Hi to Saskia from me and Merry Christmas.

but yes, from what i recall, Monterey is lovely, i distinctly recall sea lions and the aquarium, and a lot of rocks on the bay.. i think..it was a long long time ago lol :P (Lick)

The kennel calls frequently (still here in Monterey) and her eye is holding up fine so far!

and im not sure really, apparently it was a massive stroke, but he can still talk sort of, and his brain may form new neural pathways but there is still a risk of another stroke :/ .. i havent heard a lot from my mum so far.. im thinking maybe shes very busy.. although i know this is an extremely hard time for her at the moment.
