I was thinking the same thing! All my pictures are of my sister too and I've been wanting to switch it up a bit. (not that she's a bad model or anything she's sometimes a little uncooperative though)

If you're not sure I would def. wait to save up until you have a little over what you want to spend. because camera's are getting better and better and the one that you want now will be a whole lot cheaper in about 5 months prob.
My dad taught me about cameras and stuff and my brother is really into photography and he lets me play around with his awesome cameras. He has a Nikon, that's why I want one. (personally, I would go for an Olympus). Those are nice. that's what I use. But I guess it depends on what you're going to use it for and how much etcetc.
