# About me

My name is Sandi. I love to spend my days making jewelry and other things. I also sew, quilt and make things out of polymer clay. I have never sold a piece. I love to give them away to friends. In fact one Christmas I let a friend raid my completed pieces and she was able to give all of her friends and family gifts, during a very tough economic season. I am devout Buddhist. I'm a huge animal lover, especially my Daisy, which I'm sure will have many pics on here. I am moderately disabled and suffer from many illnesses, and I find that my crafts are a better therapy for me than I could have imagined. They keep my hands mobile and as strong as can be expected, and they let me express my self and share with others. I am the very proud mother of one son, and he's the light of my life.
So if you have an opinion on something I've done feel free to share it with me. I often get my inspiration from other artist's work, and I collect pictures of them to give me great ideas from time to time. I try to never create a "copy" of another artists work, only to use some ideas to give me a jumping off point.
