I know right. People tend to exaggerate the little things but I'm not complaining, funny is funny~
Oh boy Vriska, I found my views of her just kept changing. 
You know "Oh she looks cool" then "She just killed Aradia o`A'o" (I'm also guilty of liking her because I'm an Aries xD).

But in the end I'm ok with her. Like when she dated Meenah, her outfit looks great there.

yeahhhh omg i used to like. not care about vriska. bc like she never really meant that much to me like i know she's really one of the most controversial if not THE MOST controversial characters in homestuck but tbh i only started sort-of caring about her bc i guess some, maybe a lot, of my friends are scorpio and i guess i just kinda associate them with vriska???

yeah she was cool when she dated meenah
not just her outfit though but like how personality just did a 180 and she changed completely like her soul changed

Yeah, at that point she became more likeable personality wise.
Before that point though, I really liked how people were comparing their friends with her.
When they say that, their friend probably hasn't read the comic so they think "Oh what a cool character, nice compliment"
No they're saying you're a nasty person hahaha.

But the most dislikeable character for me would have to be Gamzee, I don't get how people like him. 
I do get that for people who haven't read the comic they like him based on stuff like youtube videos and fan drawings/comics

tbh i actually really like gamzee
hes so mysterious and it sucks that hussie just kinda made him a 2 dimensional villain with no backstory or whatever behind the scenes whereas vriska got ALL OF THAT which made ppl come to love her even though she is just so vile. like i think its gotta be bc hussie's girlfriend is a scorpio so hussie has always favored vriska over everyone else ://
i actually really wish we got more info on gamzee but no
he's just really the most mysterious character to me and that's partly why i really like him

Yeah, I think that might be why I partly dislike him.
There's not a lot to explain why he would be able to kill the other trolls just to ask doc scratch what are they?
(That or I'm missing out on something.)
But it's understandable because his lusus wasn't around to teach him troll basics.
Still though, he would be willing to kill Tavros just because he was told/asked to kill.
 
It would be nice if we got some kind of spin-off or explanation as to why he does the things he does and/or how he thinks (How the sopor slime broke him down mentally).
