We had loads of customs, official mlp toys and artist vendors flogging their handmade merch - most Brony conventions are technically breeches of copyright law anyway, but theres nothing Hasbro can do about it, nor do they want to dampen the mood for the fandom, (they make money out of it too from free advertising basically) so I'm fairly certain you'd be safe. Anyway, it was just a thought seeing as your Etsy page has some pretty cool customs. Most customs I saw at BUCK sold within the first few hours - it's a fair while off the event anyway, but it's food for thought!

Lucky breaks? Well, the con was a huge success, I was livestreamed on Everfree Radio and being on camera wasn't all too stressful (didn't make an ass of myself luckily). Still up to my neck in work with game work and planning stuff for next years con already. Back to college tomorrow, so I guess all is normal How's life treating you?

Buried under all sorts of work really, still got stuff for college to do and rapidly running out of time :S on top of being design officer for the convention, a game team that will be talking about their new MLP:FIM MMO has pulled me onto their team as a 2D artist for characters and backgrounds because they like my design work for the convention supposedly they want me on their panel to talk about it too, so I'm freakin' out. I don't do public speaking... So yeah, I'm stressed but happy I guess. What's new in your world, friend?

I just get a lot of lucky breaks apparently all of these jobs make me wonder why I'm bothering with college at times - I've had more jobs relating to the career I want in life in the past two months than my brother has had in his lifetime. Anyhow, it's not a competition! It seems that Morte L'amour is coming along very nicely! I'm liking where it's heading

I'm so glad you're enjoying it! Chapter 5 is out on monday and I'm so in love with chapter 9 that I've almost finished writing it! Chapter 10 looks to be even more promising

You do seem to be a lucky chap! Thing about college is it's always best to have your qualifications even if they turn out to just be a fall back because you have talents recognised elsewhere... nothing is concrete and any stability is a good thing. So do both and enjoy the lucky breaks as a reward for keeping up with your college stuff I spose. Gives you a proper sense of achievement

By the way, not to jump the gun, but is Morte L'amour going to be a novel you intend to try and get published when finished, or is it just a story you want to leave on deviantart for all to see?

I'd love for it to get published one day if it was good enough. But since I doubt that'll happen, I'm going to enjoy sharing it with others and just providing what I hope is a good read for fellow deviants for now.
