Hey it deffinately is amazing. Sometimes when I want to be inspired I just come and look at all the different artists. I still have to get my scanner cord because my cats ate my old one. What makes cats eat cords, and of course you never realize until you put your head phones on and cant figure out why there is no sound!

Where do you get your inspiration from? Im having the hardest time finding good refrence books for animals...especially the animals I want. Where do you find a great picture of a sloth or wildebeest? lol

Reference sources are hard. I wonder if you could find nature video's or dvd's and freeze the shot for sketching. If nothing else you might be able to watch for TV shows on Africa..............and wherever sloths live (south america?) and tape them and then use those to pause for a few minutes at a time.
Dragons I make up..........and dogs and cats I have or have known............and they are easier to find books on. I haven't really gotten into anything exotic yet. I do have on Photo Reference on animals that I purchased from North Light Books, but it is, of course, limited.

Well thats cool, Im always picking other peoples brains so sorry if I seem over intrusive. I really need to get my scanner cord this weekend so I can actually post some thing up here. How do people go about those art trades? I think it would be really fun doing some one else's character but I figure you have to get their permission first

You haven't been intrusive yet, so don't worry.
I'm sure you do have to get the other artist's permission, but I really don't know how the art trades work, since I've never done one. I'm sure there's members that have the answer though. Good luck on that.
