# About me
Things that I like to do: invent aphorisms, tell folk tales, adventure, talk to people about the thoughts that put sparkles in their eyes, and explore stuff at night time. Also, reading books and grooving to charming tunes. And drinking.Things I like. Cool.
I have pride in my ability to climb, sleep, give hugs, cook grilled cheese, and give compliments. I am very slow to add things to that list; I hope to add poetry some day.
I am irrevocably good-natured about religion. It's one of the most stimulating parts of my life and being irrevocably good natured about things is something I consider wise.
I investigate philosophy & religious studies at McGill University. I am in the third year of my undergraduate, and have a nice apartment just next to Parc Mont-Royal.
I grew up on a little farm in the wilderness. That has shaped and continues to influence my identity. Also, we have solar panels. So sick.
My siblings are both capable artists and I recommend that you check out their art: WanderingHere and jonathoncomfortreed . If you'd like criticism and advice on pieces of artwork, send me a note; I will see what I can do.
I like people who are creative, intense and compassionate. I try to be these things myself. Sometimes I fail, sometimes I do okay.
We should maybe become friends?
You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free

In case this has a hard time reaching you via Spotify, this is a song for you in dedication to all things 'The Sea'. Ethereal and uncatchable, it's an idea more than a sound but it sounds of forever, i think: [link]

Hello and how d'ye do? I spent the afternoon reading your poetry, and now my head is full of crows, owls, sea- beasties and trees. Your style reminds me of John C. Wright, and Keith Miller's The Book of Flying, like the wild hunt and half remembered dreams. So this is just to say that you're effing ineffable, and good day sir

i just realized that now that we have both finally finished our Summer pieces (or at least gotten them to the point of being presentable) i finally get to say something i've just needed to say for fear i might burst from holding it in any longer.
Even though we are twins,

Team D. Reed! I like your new blurb under your deviantID. Well done, lad.
Also I've just been reading some of your poetry because I'm on a tWR binge for writing this weeks featured member.

Thanks, lass (?). The last one was a bit too convulted and I just couldn't quite get it to fit. So I figured the facts were the simplest way to do things.

OK, last week in a writing class we were reading Keats and Wordsworth. I just read your poem, "The Sea" (and will be back to read more)...there's a feel, appropriately modernized, of the Old Masters to it--in the very best way. Truly great work; I look forward to exploring your writing further.

i have really enjoyed your pieces thus far and hope to continue going through your work as i get time. i'm an immense adherent of modern poetry and hope to provide feedback worthy enough to account for at least 1/7th of the joy that reading your pieces gives me.
(P.S. Saw Godspeed in Athens a couple of weeks ago and can hear them playing along to a lot of your pieces. The combined literary and musical atmosphere is overbearingly delightful.)

Your username seemed super familiar to me, and then I remembered that you were the one that gave me that insightful critique on the "Mother, can you mend" poem. Durrr.
Anyway, congrats on the DD.

AHHH! I try! Inspiration is so hard to gather and I have class and I need to do fun things once in a while. I don't know what to do. There are simply not enough hours in a day.
Right now, I'm rewriting Fiat Lux completely. Hopefully that will be done soon.
Also, I've got a half-written critique of When God Sleeps that I really need to finish. Just so you know: someday, you'll be getting all of my opinions.

Agh, it's too short. D: Why can't there be like, a thirteenth hour where time stands still for five hours so it's actually a twenty-nine hour day or something?
Then again, I'd probably still be whining about how short the day is. >.>
Ahhh, the infamous PP critique! Throw it at me, bro. I will eat it up.

I find it difficult to believe I'm older than you. I was under the impression you were in your mid twenties or so.
