Same. Just enjoying my day off! In fact, it's my first weekend off work since December. Glad to just chill out for a bit. Too bad it's raining or I'd have gone to the beach. Do anything fun this weekend?

More like, why not? The Navy needed bodies in Georgia and I had a pulse. Ha. We're just supplementing the security watch team and doing odd jobs so that the rest of the staff can do their duties.

Hard to say it's like any one thing in particular. Some days are good, some are bad. Everyone has a different job and lifestyle in the Navy, and it changes based on if you're out to sea or on shore duty. Right now, I'm on a shore duty and Georgia is both beautiful and laid back, making this the best time I've had in the Navy so far. But, the last 6 months I was stationed in Charleston, SC and I was working 18 hour days 6 days a week.

So, right now, it's absolutely awesome. Hopefully it'll remain pretty awesome, but I've got some difficult things coming up in my career soon.
