No problem! This may be the 'inner illustrator' in me talking, but I think you deserve more credit, bro'; you've clearly worked hard to hone your artistic talent, and it's my opinion that should be recognised. Whether you're a hobbyist or a professional doesn't reflect how skilled you are - a lot of professionals are just hobbyists who charge for their work. People should base their opinions on the quality of the art, not the status of the artist; for instance, I can see that you're more artistically talented than I am, and at one time I was a professional, so what does that say about me?

I think if some people could be assured that their status and reputation would be based on their work, many more of them would be confident enough to start the journey.

Thank you for the compliments; if you got something out of them, they were worth writing. As for the journey, as long as you enjoy the process, and continue to learn and develop your style with every piece, you'll be in a better position than a lot of us; I'm sure I don't have to tell you that artistry isn't always unicorns and candy floss.
