Born and raised primarily in the maritime provinces, I was always aware I noticed intricate details in everything that surrounded me, but never understood the full potential of showing others my gift until some 30 years later. From very early on since that moment, I have made the love of my environment a large part of my photographic work, forming unique fresh perspectives with high-end images.I have been photographing the world around me for many years since then and have a great deal of respect for the artform. Not every minute of those years was spent on photography. Not all of the nearly 500,000 images I have taken are perfect. The images are my interpretation of many things most of us do not even take the time to notice or appreaciate for the true beauty that lies in everything around us. One can find something of interest without much effort if one chooses to take a single moment of their time, from the look of a child to the last minutes of the sun as it sets in the west reflecting off the water's edge. This aproach, along with the parallel and conceptual influences of my recent exposure to other photographers, gives my work a multi-layered quality; mystical at times, pragmatic and structured at others. I am deeply attracted to the notion of opposites...ambiguity, good, evil, chaos, order, positive, negative, complexity and simplicity; my work falls within the paremeters of those qualities and with each and every time my shutter clicks, I aspire to become better at my craft.

Also, have not entered any of my images to any groups, however other Deviants have added some of my images into there groups or groups they belong too..so whatever explanations in any of these folders, should be followed by those entering my work into them
