All I said was Welcome to DA.
Whatever else you think, maybe keep them to yourself and don't assume, (cuz most people here dislike toxic users who make assumptions.)

Yeah, don't worry about it. Just, next time someone post images to your comments section, don't attack them, cuz not everybody is a spam bot or your enemy.
If you're using the old system of DA, you can simply hide the comment and not respond to it. If you're using Eclipse, you can delete the comment (and not respond to it). And if you're really annoyed, just block the person.
I understand that some people on here will post stuff like "Hey, thanks for faving me. Feel free to check out the rest of my work" and they'll post some other images, or some people will just randomly show up and post imgs saying "Hey check out my work" - either way most people who "want attention" tend to be direct and blunt about it.... They don't try to hide it etc.
And I also don't really see the point of getting mad about it either, cuz it's an Art Site and most people tend to try to be different from the norm of "Thank you for the Llama" or "Thank you for the fav" if you fav and llama people alot, (so getting angry or annoyed might consume alot of your energies.)
Us "Ole folk" (users who have used this site for a while), usually mean no harm in the greetings we post. In my case, after two yrs or so of posting "Hi, Thanks, You're welcome" etc as plain text, I got bored and later decided to start using emojis- making patterns out of them etc and posting them to people. I could care less for watches faves or llama tbh.

WHAT??? Nah!
DA's llama badges were first introduced on April 1st 2010.
People loved it so much (cuz it was free to give anybody) that they started using it as gift giving to their fellow deviants - though initially the Llama badges have no actual use or purpose. It's all up to the person who sends them.
So like for instance, some people (like those who may host drawing contests), may award participants of their contests with a llama for their participation, or some people may use it to gift people during a "fave, llama, comment, watch" event (you can find these threads sometimes in the forums. It's where if someone likes your work, they'll give you something in return), some give it as a form of encouragement (to keep up the good work on art etc), some give it as a form of thank you.
Some people like me - use it as an excuse to view other people's galleries. (For me this helps me to find new users who's work wants to be faved or they want a new watcher, but I still get to decide if I want to do either of those things while on their profile. I usually give people back their llama before exiting their gallery when Im done exploring.)
And some do something called llama trading, to level up their llama badge. There's like 10 or 11 levels.
(The runaway llamas were introduced later on after the limit was Golden Llamas)
The nice thing about llamas was that even if someone reached run away llamas, you could still keep giving them (if you haven't already as you can only give 1 llama to every account that exists on DA.
Additionally, there are people who set points out, where you can trade them a llama for it. (But you can only see this in your Badge Page.)
(But you can only see this in your Badge Page like the the bottom right side)
And if you click on your badges, it gives you info about it, as well as tracking for how many llamas you sent and you received, as well as who gave you what kind of llama and when. Or you can buy sunglasses or bow ties for them.
And then there's also the Cake Badge (which costs 80 DA Points aka 1 dollar) to give someone, but with this badge, once you someone reaches the final level of the badge, you can't give them anymore cake.
Either way, people on her send llama badges for all kinds of reasons tbh. Some people don't pay attention to them and some of us find reasons for how to use them or how to gift back etc.
(PS: All this is based on the Old version of day. I have no idea what's going to happen 3 days from now, when Eclipse becomes the new version of DA. The feature functions may be different.)
Sure. Imma hit you with a watch.
But be warned though. I tend to be a realistic person. Not everything I say do people agree with and I do get angry when people spam me Nsfw content or troll me (so sometimes you may see some "unsavory" commentary on my account from me (like the fact that I cuss alot when Im angry - especially at bs or I aggressively rant - depending or I'll break out in Trinidadian dialect during that anger burst. And for some, I may have "polarizing" views - despite the fact that I have reasons.) I also type long blocks of text most of the time, so if you don't mind any of that, then you're more than welcome
