Just did and the only thing Iβd like to say is, donβt tell someone: βYou can take your time to think about it. I also got someone else who is interested in him but I'd rather put him on hold and wait for you then. ; v ;β
to then only come back 3 separate times to ask them w/increasing impatience about their status & state that you now have TWO people waiting for this design. Which means it was still being offered or spoken of further.
As much as I love SnT & their designs, Iβll decline your offer and hold onto my own beloved designs. Thank you for the chance but I no longer feel comfortable with this transaction.

Which is understandable, but also, perhaps letting someone know how long it might take isn't a task which takes a lot out of you?
Just a short "I am still unsure, it might take a few more days" or something like that.
In all my experience of interacting with others I've just never encountered someone before who just left me hanging like this without further notice of how to proceed while writing back others. It just feels more like being ignored. And besides that I was just asking if you had time to think about it after a few days have already passed. I wasn't rude at all and I didn't demand an instant decision. It was just a question and the two other people were actually people who approached me about it via notes.

I was unsure of the transaction because I wanted to be confident of a use for the character & be able to do them justice. Not just have them sit and collect dust to end up being rehomed again. Thatβd be unfair to the creator & character itself.
But all in all, I also didnβt want to give you an improper time limit to go by. Especially when I didnβt know it myself.

See? I didn't and couldn't know that. These are really reasonable thoughts and if I would have known I probably wouldn't have been so worried myself since it's more understandable. I hope it's also understandable tho how the person on the other side might feel if they're not sure about the situation after a while.
