I'm afraid I have to withdraw. Due to how long it's been and certain other events, I can no longer write my characters consistently. Nor have I spoken to the creators of the other characters enough to be able to portray theirs. I'm sorry to my opponent and wish everyone the best of luck in the remainder of the tournament.

Gah, I am so sorry about this, I got up the ref sheet of my character, though because of some setbacks(Losing my job, having to go back to Arkansas for 2 weeks to work on my dads property, and some other things on top of that) I wont be able to have the intro up until tomorrow(is that ok??? GAH, I am honestly really sorry about this!)

Hey, interesting tourney, mind if I ask a few questions?
1. You said that only "good" characters can join, correct? What about Neutral Good characters(Ex: Spiderman, ect.)? Are those types of characters alright?
2. It is stated that the Sword of Shield was made from a special material, is that the only kind of its material in the world?
3. Is Sprix Ironwood the only creature that can see into the future? And to go along with that, what does he look? You can quite a lot of different looks out of the classification of "Familiar".
4. Does the character that is entered have to use basic weaponry(ex: Sword, Bow and Arrow, ect...) Or can they use a special thing they might have been born with?
Sorry for all the questions, just wanted to clear some little stuff up before I choose to commit myself to the tourney! If you cant get back to me, I can understand, but if you can Thanks a Ton!

1. Neutral good, lawful good, and even (shudder) chaotic good characters are welcome.
2. the sword of shield and the devouring blade's sheath are the only items made of this material.
3. Sprix is a sprite/fairy. so basically dragonfly wings and all that jazz. he is not the only being who can see into the future though he is the only character i have that can do so.
4. they do not have to use basic melee weaponry. but in the cross tournament match they do have to have the complete sword of shield on their person.

Hmmmmm...... Sweet! Thanks! That about covers up most of my questions, an I am working on a character actually as we speak!
Oh! I know we are supposed to have good characters only, but what if they slowly become more inclined towards neutral as the tourney progresses? Or to be more specific, they are moved along because of a personal reason instead of just wanting to save the world from destruction and evil? Is that alright?
If not, I can always tweak some stuff, but if it is alright, it would be greatly appreciated!

Do we have to use that Character Template? Its so..... SMALL...(And yes, I do realize that it is 8x11, but its still really small compared to what I work with... Sorry)Do you think I might be able to use my own template?
And also, you said in the Introduction that there was a tournament being started by the 9 different countries, but does that mean that the fighting will only be in a tournament styled setting, such as a arena and so forth, or will it be fights as the many different contestants make their ways to the tournament?
If it was like that, it would greatly improve the fights, because every single one wouldn't be in restrained confines of a Colosseum.
Aw crap, I lied... I have one last question that just popped up in my noggin...
How come the dark side of the land of Thear tourney have actual "Goals"? As far as I can see, the light sides only goals is to beat all the other contestants, and somehow binding the devouring blade... Is there more? (Please let there be more???)

oh if you are going to have a random fight outside of the arena grounds one of the NPC's from this tournament has to act as an overseer.

1. if you click on the download area you will get a larger picture to use. and you must use the tournament template.
2. the fighting does not have to be in an arena. For Avio you could be fighting in the city, the prepared arena, of in the air (if you want to rent a flying creature or have your own for that fight.) I Will add other competitions for each country except for Sitnalta if you like.
3. The Goal is to best your opponent in some way. Either outlast them, defeat them in a form of combat. The Dark side has less restraints Than this one simply because i wanted it to seem more appealing since most people usually create a morally correct character. there might be more but that wont really be revealed until the middle of the tournaments.

Question: Which would a more morally gray character be inclined to join. It would seem the Quest for the Devouring Blade seems like the only reasonable motivation would destruction on a mass scale.
Similarly, the Quest of the Sword of Shield seems kind of those save the world types.
Am I just over generalizing it or is it a little deeper than I'm reading into it?

You read QSoS pretty much right. This tournament is more of a find the prize at the expense of your opponent thing. The Devouring blade could be nothing more than a trophy sold to the highest bidder in the end. that is if you wish it to be so.
A morally gray character would fall better in this tournament. You can audition for both but only participate in one if you are chosen in both.

Oh, that gives me crazy ideas about entering diametrically opposed characters into different tournaments, making each entry come from each's point of view.
Assuredly, it'd be a crap-ton of work to perform equally and yet separately in a single entry, it'd just be a cool idea.
Back to the point, thanks for the feedback. I guess it was just the whole clash of the titans scenario that occurs at the end of the tournament between the two winners that was throwing me a little. I guess there's more than enough good ideas to make the entire thing plausible more so than I first though.
Entry forth coming as soon as I determine what character I prefer and which tournament they'd fall into.
