Great vector work- nice, bright, and colorful. Love the quirky, fun attitude too.

your Inkscape created works are true examples of what one can generate with Inkscape... if you put your mind to it.

Hey girlie! Missed you too! I haven't been on here much since I've been busy trying to go back to school for a Bachelors of Science, Graphic Design, and because I am doing it in an unusual/ atypical way, through the VA's Vocational Rehabilitation program (disabled veteran) Chapter 31, not the usual G.I. Bill...as anything with the government...it isn't very swift. They approved my choice of school (Art Institute of California, S.F., on-line) and major (Graphic Design is one of the most expensive majors! 100k!!!), and now just trying to make sure all my bases are covered before actually enrolling. They are covering EVERYTHING...and then some- reality still hitting. Don't know whether to laugh or cry...done both! The school was not familiar with Chapter 31, so it's a new one for them, and it's been a phone tag trying to get in touch with them, but as far as the VA is concerned, I'm in!
My screenshots from the Inkscape.org website, and LinuxToday/Ostatic on-line mag, and Pinkitude convinced them
The Pen Tool Masters group sounds great! I'm going to need some Adobe CS4 Design Premium tips and tutorials...so used to Inkscape!
Hope all is well with you!

Everything is very well, I hate that its taken so long to get back! I'm so happy for you having all of that covered! I've heard that the Art Institutes are the most expensive (they're banking off of the people who can't go to a class physically, it's that old supply and demand thing) I started to apply and saw the prices which was like 10x more than me getting off my rump and driving 5 minutes to the local college, so I decided to end it there. But I'm so happy you made it in! That is super spectacular!
I've been gone for a minute because I just moved, quite my job, got a new one, and finally I've found a spot where I can just calm down and get back to what I love. I'm happy I could talk to you again! It's been too long

Funny! I saw that DD earlier Thanks! You made me smile. Today has been difficult- husband's computer crashed (not even loading the BIOS screen!), and I decided to delete my Blogger blog, tired of it reinforcing my feelings of ineffectiveness and insignificance as a person (who needs it?)...at least I get a few comments on here....grateful.

You are most welcome! Glad you discovered him too! If you enjoy philosophy, you might also enjoy his Perennial Philosophy-it's one of my must-have books He was an amazingly insightful, brilliant soul.

Haha, I didn't notice this reply for an EXACT YEAR!
Well, since I noticed I will now reply.

Since his book "Chrome Yellow," was available for free (via Gutenberg.org) I read that first.
I was amazed at Huxley's method of jumping between first and third person. And I loved how the author teased his characters, as if he were watching them instead of narrarting.
