my drawing process is more I draw and then a thing happens and I have no idea why or what. you know the black dress with sparkle and the round symbol on it? well, the sparkly night stuff is meant to be space and the planet was meant to be the planet with all the goofy frogs on. I like the kind of weird black oily stuff - its kind of what the frogs are being formed out of. The ones on the right have only half formed but the one of the left have settled down a bit. Why are there frogs being formed out of a weird black tar monster? in all honesty I have no idea! Louis probably needs to have a serious conversation with his subconscious. But cute colourful weird and slightly morbid. Those are the kind of stylistic things I love in my work.

I've been very lucky with artwork. have a weird medical thing where I cant go outside or see people much but it because of it I've got to spend about four years of my life drawing and playing with imaginary worlds because I couldn't really do much else . It probably helped me with an original style since I never really had an art lesson. all entirely self taught. but this isn't just a one way street. your artwork is pretty awesome too my dear! Ive already raved about your colour palette and I really do think its utterly awesome. and as for hoping not to disappoint, don't worry your doing wonderfully

for me, i love creating. just the whole general thing, but mainly creating characters and stories. i have a journal that ill write in from time to time when im hit with inspiration, i fill it with potential ideas for short stories and comics ( as in a webcomic like emily carroll does !! i love her work ) and hopefully someday i can bring those to life!!

I love limbo its amazing how such a minimalist simplistic art style can be so effective . I mean the first thing that stands out to people in Limbo is OMG this looks so cool. And they didn't even have to use a single colour apart from black and white. Silhouettes always look bad ass. They made a sequel of sorts to it recently called Inside. My favourite games are all just insane weird Indie nonsense - Ittle Dew 2, Stanley Parable, LISA, I could go on and on and on. Louis likes to do games too much. I love Supermario Galaxy's wonderfully trippy perspective. All the alternating gravity and planets. I don't know whether to swoon because its so pretty or throw up because I have vertigo.
Awwww ! Thank you a tonne - 50% of profits from the book go to charity. I have probably got a word document of the whole thing buried somewhere around here. I could send it over at some point if you like. Nearly finished editing my second book now. A good thing to keep in mind with writing, at least which has helped me, is nobody starts off good. But with a little patience and practice who knows. Anyway as long as you're having a good time doing it that's all that matters!
I used to do public speaking stuff but because of my sensory nonsense it would mess me up for weeks afterwards and now my sensory stuff has gotten worse since that point in time, so getting past my front door is a miracle. I don't know if I'm going to be able to do talks anymore. What helped me when it came to public speaking was I always assumed that I would be awful at it whatever I tried, so since I assumed I would be bad at it anyway, I just did what I want. And contrary to all expectations I wasn't bad at it. and I'm still mildly confused why I was to this day.
Well you've definitely got the art skills to pull off a web comic. Your characters ooze personality. Might be a silly suggestion, but maybe could we work on the webcomic thing together if you ever feel like it? I've always loved the idea of working on a comic or story with someone. But as you can probably guess I don't exactly have a large social circle. Mostly it's just me and the cat.. and 1 or 2 people on the interweb I bother sometimes. And as for worrying that you wrote too much, look at this massive monstrosity of a comment. I think we're probably both guilty of that sin.

Thank you for saying you would rather buy the book than me send a copy it's really sweet of you - the second one is still a collection of short stories and poetry although I've been managing to write for longer and longer. One of the stories is 27 page when they are usually about one page. No worries if you're busy
No worries if you're busy but if you ever catch some free time and feel like it, it would be awesome to work on a comic together.
When it comes to my writing style, I usually randomly start talking and then some weird nonsense spills out of my mouth with me having no idea where it came from. If I have a problem with my writing, it's lack of direction and being a tad messy and unstructured. That's why I go for short stories. My brain is overflowing with so many random tangents that it's hard to keep track.
Thanks for making time for me even though you've been very busy with school work. I feel a bit guilty that I can't come up with a reply as long as yours. I hope I'm not kicked out of the long comment club .

i mostly like skype because I find typing a bit of a nightmare.. also I am lonely so any excuse to talk to somebody! but text is perfectly fine. I never want to make you feel anxious or uncomfortable. I'm less of an independent person and more of someone who has learnt to be. I pretty much had to do all my work by myself. because of medical shenanigans. its funny I am a people person with a condition which makes it painful to be around people. don't worry youre not annoying you are always a delight to talk to. really tempted to send you a file of my book and story stuff - just really curious what you would think of it and it might be useful if we are planning on making a world together. And no worries about not wanting to work on a big project thing.
Even if we don't work on a big project together it would still be really nice to chit chat with you when you have the time and feel like it.

We could make an imaginary world where there's magic but its akin to radiation pulling from old changelings witches and religious inquisition folklore. For example in a post apocalyptic setting, radiation will mutate animals and make them more weird but it would be fun to kinda mingle that with magic like you could have a church which obsessed with keeping the gene pool clean and any person born with mutations, like a third eye, or magic powers were persecuted . It would be fun to make the persecutory church not entirely evil like their stance on mutants are if a mutant is born with incredible powers or abilities, no one human should be trusted with that much power and its too dangerous or like they don't want too many mutants in the gene pool in case humanity loses what it is and changes into something else. Kind of in a medieval setting, with maybe hints of a post apocalypse. Louis could go on and on and on and on but I should probably leave you before this becomes an actual book.
Please don't worry about the typing thing its entirely fine. But if hearing people clearly is the problem, that really depends on reception for example Skype some days can work perfectly and other days you want to assault it with a sledge hammer. As for my medical stuff, I have been dealing with this all my life and never really found anything that's helped. I've just accepted that this is what existing is and I am going to be stuck like this if I like it or not.
And just to dump more text on you, I will finish this with some of my writing stuff. It might be a bit depressing and pretentious but it was the shortest one I could lay my hands on. Its about how I feel about my medical stuff.

ahhh i gotcha! i kinda face the same thing but it's all about being yourself and finding the right people who love ya for who you are!! i know it's easier said than done but definitely keeping the mindset that life is kind of a trial-and-error thing, and that you'll 100% surely find someone who would love to be your friend, could be v helpful

for me, when i start making friends on here, i just comment on their things, try to be active w them, but not push myself onto them bc that would be bad pfffft
but befriending people differs from person to person, it can take a super long time to befriend one person, but sometimes you and another person can just click super easily
maybe join a bunch of the groups on this website to help you find more people that would fit into your community! there are definitely a bunch of writing groups, as well as boundless art groups
you can also submit your art/writings to these groups too, it'll help get yourself out there too!
