with all those lightning pictures you've put up recently, you should try to keep the pod VERY steady and in one place, snap several shots of lightning, and combine them into a more intense picture, its what I did with both of my lightning photos

I thought about splicing some together. I should be able to do it with what I have since I used a remote the whole time.
Is it better to stack the layers and use blend modes or using layer masks? Just curious which method you used.

that is neither, entirely done with clone brush, however, not always a straight clone, sometimes I'd just clone the hue, or just if it was lighter, or darker, took me a very very long time to patch it all together, but it absolutely looks like it is just ONE exposure, and not many

Thanks, I'll have to give that a whirl. I attempted a very rudimentary approach with [link] but doubt that technique would work on any image splice with overlapping bolts.
