# About me
I have been wincing at the past description I've written here for the past few months, and I felt that it is about time I write a proper new description.As you can see, I am quite inactive. I plan to rejoin deviantart through a different account, but as I am quite busy getting out of what I like to call "homework debt", this will be a stop-gap solution for now.
Through my experiences since Deviantart, I have learned a lot more about myself, including self control and discipline. I've finally been able to spot (my own) corrupt behaviour that my brain kept excusing as "likable": I tried acting like a cute child, because I thought it would make people like me, even though it was not who I wanted to be at all. It turned out this only upset people even more, which motivated me to question whether it was necessary to act such way: As a result, I've finally made some steps backwards, and I have returned to the mature sensible self that was there before I settled here. I've become much more mindful of what I say, and I find myself writing and deleting my messages over and over. I feel like there's a barrier that prevents me from talking to those who I've previously talked to so often, in fear of re-sparking my obsessive vices.
Despite all of this, I am nothing but inspired to start a new beginning sometime in the future.
I will still keep this account here because I like to keep a trace of my milestones: Regardless of how much we may wince (cringe) about something we have done or made in the past, it is that guilt that allowed us to learn and innovate, and change ourselves for the better good. In other words, your mistakes are what help establish progress.
Now when I say that, I could imagine it almost sounds as if I'm trying to say "you should make as many mistakes as possible and be proud of all of them", but this is not the case: what I mean, is that if you happen to make mistakes, you may feel like you hurt yourself in the short-term, but in the long-term that one mistake may have prevented many worse mistakes. So take pride of all your milestones, even those which you may consider "cringeworthy", for they are what brought you here, to be the wonderful being you are today.

I am silly to have somehow missed this. Thank you very much. I found it funny when you said that you have been drawing longer than I have been alive xD. Well, even at such age one can learn tremendously. OH! Also you have grown to 1000 watchers in like 2 months, and I have been on deviantart for 4 times as long as you and I don't even have 100 watchers, xD, I guess it's age supremacy xD
I feel like I am entering art slightly late myself. But at least I have critical thinking now (which is needed to learn from drawing), and when I was 13 I didn't care about improving at all. Age does not matter then.
It is artistic of you to thank through artistic form.

haha Well, I'm 32 (33 this November) and a lot of people on here are 12-18. I've been drawing and crafting since I could remember, so that's at least 1988/1989 XD
I have an old account here on dA (LaughingSquid ) and that one wasn't near as successful as this one has been. I feel like I've learned a lot about promoting/marketing throughout the years and have used these skills on this account. If you want advice, I highly suggest joining tons of groups and submitting your art to every applicableΒ group you can, comment in addition to faving others' art, send tons of llamas, and buy advertising/promotion space on accounts like dAhub . That's really all there is to it XD
It doesn't matter when you start creating, the point is that you're creating <3
And age definitely doesn't matter when it comes to improving. I'm still improving my art at 32 and can't wait to see what I can draw in the future :D
Once I got a Core membership, I knew I had to make my own sprites thanking people for watches and favs. I used to do text only, but that wasn't as fun as getting a sprite and a speech bubble :3
It's also a way of promoting myself. Other people who go to those pages where I post my thanks, they see a snippet of my art and click on me if they like what they see. It's a win-win <3

The Battleship and Mazda.

Ah yes, I remember, that legendary rotary 787 (if I am correct); the battleship is very great for a pencil based work, extremely realistic and excellent shading work from what I remember.

The battleship was something I wanted to draw for a long time. My dad was a WWII Navy veteran and that ship was depicted on his honorable discharge certificate.

I was thinking of doing drawings of your planes eventually: I have a very cartoony style relative to most people who draw planes; I like to have simple but epic proportions.
In this image, you can see sort of how I like to work with proportions. Of course, the work isn't too great because it's too roughly done, but for something in sta.sh it is good.Β
