Looking for jobs can be a long and stressful process but if you keep it up I'm sure you'll find one soon!  I've been working at a bakery since last august but I think I applied to 5 or 6 places before I was hired there.

It's really nice actually.  I'm not a baker (which is both a blessing and a curse because their shifts begin at 4:30 in the morning) but i do get to do a lot of prep work like bagging the cookies and bread, slicing the bread, getting it out on the shelves, etc.  That's only saturdays though since i work the morning shift then.  Usually it's customer service and custodial work.  I get to take a free food item of my choice home at the end of every shift and the leftover samples too which is my favorite thing ever.  Like my family hasn't bought bread in months thanks to THIS GUY

I'm really surprised at how dark it is! (surprised in a good way!!!)
And I love that they got voice acting for every witness in court and the mob cross-examinations are great and aaaaahhh

It was really great, all in all...!

I, uh, guess I'll just say SPOILER WARNING in case any randomers are reading this conversation.

Even though no-one actually died in the trials, I still really appreciate that the characters had to deal with death
being the apparent reality of a Guilty verdict.
Having said that, I do wish the writers had killed them for real, but that's just my preference.

Also, I think I would've liked it if Labyrinthia was actually a magic book, but I realise that this is Professor Layton
and nothing is ever allowed to be real.
Still, it would've been a lot easier to believe than the explanation they came up with.
I honestly have to respect the writers for their sheer dedication to making ridiculously convoluted reasons for
"supernatural" things to be happening.

Anyways, I only have a few minor quibbles like that with the game. I enjoyed it very much overall and I only wish
it could've been a few witch trials longer.
It's definitely one of my favourite Ace Attorney games now (if you can count it as one)!

I'm gonna go ahead and say I agree with everything you said since your opinions on the game reflect mine pretty well.
I hope they make another phoniex wright/professor layton crossover game or whatever you'd want to call it.  Got any favorite side characters in this one?

Yeah, I hope so too.

I'll be obvious and say I liked Kira and Jean a lot.
I guess because they had such interesting characters? (Also, Kira's "Do you LIKE evidence, Sir Defender?
Do you LOVE proof, Sir Top Hat?!" is probably my favourite line in the game.)
It was just fascinating that they show how much of a terrible burden it is to be a witch in this world.

But, uh, maybe they're too prominent to be called side characters?
In that case, I also liked Lettie Mailer and the Vigilantes in both design and what is seen of their characters.

It's alright, by side characters I meant anyone besides Phoenix, Layton, Maya, and Luke.  
It was very entertaining to watch the plot progress, especially when it came to the prejudice against witches if you could call it that.
Jean and Espella were probably my favorites, I felt like the character development was one of the game's strong points.
