hey,i also happen to have a tumblr account alongside my account for d.a. as well.if it's not goin out of your way could you explain how to get your d.a. artwork onto tumblr? i've been wantin to get some of my tmnt pics on there but have yet to do so since i don't know how.

Hello there! ^-^ There are ways to "share" artwork directly from your DA gallery to your Tumblr account (when you look at your artwork post on DA, you'll generally see the little Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter icons and so on around the area where the download options are), however, I prefer to post the art straight from my computer instead.
The main reason I do it this way is because when posting artwork onto Tumblr, you should keep in mind that on peoples' dashboards, images are reduced to 500x750 pixels. If you have a giant piece of artwork, then sometimes Tumblr's automatic size reduction process can end up making your work look a little off (lines can become pixel-y and jittery rather than straight and smooth), so sometimes I'll have to re-save my artwork as a separate .jpeg file with the size reduced to avoid this.
To post a picture onto Tumblr, go to the top of your dashboard and click on the "photo" icon, the little red camera. Once there, click anywhere in the box that says "choose up to 10 photos", and you'll be prompted to select an image from your computer's files. Once you see your image pop up, you can see how the resolution will look on Tumblr's dashboard, and you can also click "Preview on Blog" to see how it'll look on your blog before you post it (some blog themes will allow you to post larger format sizes than the generic 500x750).
