Yes and no, I suppose

I've been going to an Art college for like a year now, but I truly haven't learned anything useful regarding drawing yet. All my progress so far has been from me doing it on my own

I've only had classes on like, philosophy and positive thinking and other things that weren't so useful. Had a Photoshop one once but I was already an expert in the program (no drawing with it, just using it in general : P)

I also started digital, and therefor have absolutely no traditional skills whatsoever

Your stuff is literally fantastic
and for the most part when colleges are looking for portfolios they just wanna see that you have like, some kind of base to be able to learn how to draw off of. No point teaching someone to draw when they already know how to

Traditional is really hard for me. I did oil painting once, but I couldn't stand the smell, so I stopped after a couple of months.

I've learned more from helpful YouTube videos than I've learned in a year there : /

Digital is like the last stuff you'll learn before you graduate pretty much. Which is laaaame

Yeah, it's the same for pretty much every Art school out there. Digital is always last to be taught. Which again is laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaame.

You don't really need a degree in illustration to show someone you know how to draw, and you already know how to draw quite well. In animation, you've gotta be really good at drawing, as well as animating. So at least with that one you're pretty much doing both

But then again I more than likely know nothing, and am not the wise sage that I like to pretend to be

I wasn't casting any aspersions, nor was there any hate in what I was saying. What's the point of showing off your work if no one can see it. You can make subtle watermarks that are very difficult to remove and see, so you can still clearly view the picture without anyone being able to steal it.

Galaxies usually have centers, and aren't ring shaped. Sorry for the confusion
