# About me

I'm a pretty cool person once you get to know me. But be warned I sometimes don't play well with others. lol I'm easy going, but I'm not usually easy to make friends with. Mainly because I'm a bit obnoxious. XD Metal and rock bands like Disturbed and Five Finger are what I'm into, as well as a few others, although my music interests do vary a little. Wolves and horses are two of my fav animals, and I'm really into fantasy stuff and creatures. Especially dragons. I also like to crack jokes sometimes, but don't think you'll hear any! :) jk

Okay, so there are several ways.

1) If you know the name of the emoji you can type it. But, you have to use colons for everything :::. So, if you want this emoji, you simply write : dummy : but with NO spaces. Never put spaces down for emojis.

Here are some, : XD : =   : ) =   :happybounce : = :nuu : =

There is NO capitalizing either.

2) Some people make accounts and use the avatar (the image by your comment) as emojis. Examples of this would be like To get this image you have to write :icondragonglomp :

3) Another way is whenever you hit the comment or reply button at the BOTTOM of the comment square is a + with the words "Add Media." Hit that and you will get ALL the emojis on dA. Type in the search bar a mood like, "happy" and all the happy related emojis will appear.

There are BILLIONS of emojis/gifs on dA. Facebook is extremely lacking. And you can make your own. I never made one but like almost every single emoji/gif a deviantART user made and shared.

Another thing you can do is change the look of your writing. Bold, strike, understrike, initialized, etc.  You use coding that again uses NO spacing.

Here, look at this journal: Using HTML on deviantART
Hello!

Hello and welcome to my little html tutorial. I've been working with html codes for a couple of years and I'm going to teach you what I know about using some basic html on deviantART. This won't make you a html expert or something and I'm not an expert myself but it will give just enough knowledge to make your journals, comments, news articles and other neat and lovely looking.
deviantART actually has FAQs about html but I still wanted to do this because they look a bit unorganized, in my opinion. Also, why would you want to look for those FAQs when you can just open this news article where you have everything in one place?
You may already know some of these, but I hope you'll find at least something helpful in this news article.

Some basic html

Bold text: insert text here
Result: Example text
This html code will work in: journal entries, group blogs, comments, artist's commen

So, explore around with that and any questions let me know. Again, this place has a LOT of features so it can be overwhelming at first, but you get the hang of it pretty quickly.

Do you need help finding other people's art? Do you know how to follow people? Favorite? Make folders for favorites/artwork?
