Billie Joe is honestly my saviour, I love that man so much... Green Day truly is my constant fall back. Their fandom was actually the first one I was ever active in. And yes, Billie is SOMETHING ELSE to witness live!!!
A Green Day concert really is something magic. They have that ability to make you feel 100% welcome, even if you don't know another soul in the venue. They're incredible like that!

I do understand the feeling though, in the past I wouldn't have handled his extended absence from twitter very well at all. In fact... By this point I'd probably be near hysterical...
But we know, he said he wasn't going to be using twitter so much. He's got a LOT of work going on, that is all. He'll come back when he can/when he's ready to. He knows we love and miss him, we just need to be patient

Here's a confession... I have started reading the Dove Keeper, but never actually finished it.
I found it incredibly beautiful and moving, and I actually don't have a good excuse as to why I never finished it! I think I started reading it around when I was beginning writing Runaway, so likely I was just too overwhelmed at the time. (That and I tend to find it difficult to read other people's fanfics when I'm in the midst of my own.)
Really need to pick it up again!

What chapter did you leave off on? Out of 54 lengthy chapters I'm about to start 45…It's so long, and detailed, and gut wrenching. It will be worth picking up again, if you do
It's too gorgeous and painful for me to describe properly, but it changed my outlook on life.
I compiled a whole list of quotes from it pertaining to art, or life, or love, or any other universal aspect because they are genuinely words I want to live by.
I want to weave them into my physical life because they transcend beyond the confines of just this one story, they're inspirational <3
I would share my list, but I don't want to give away spoilers. As I said though, they apply to the world way beyond fanfic, so they probably wouldn't spoil much of the actual plot.
Be warned, I had to stop and take breaths and do other activities for hours, at several points. I needed productive distractions to calm down and somewhat pull myself together.
You might not be as emotional as me, so your experience may be different, but I'm warning you just in case.
I'm not exaggerating when I say it might be the most overwhelming story I've read in my life.
There are books, and fanfic, that I cherish because they actually managed to make me cry, but this is the first one to ever literally steal my breath, or make my throat constrict by reading it.
