I use to think that cross stitching was boring, but you were one of two people who show me that cross stitching doesn't have to be boring. I should be thanking you. That's an inspiration for me. For a time I didn't see the worth of cross stitching until I happen to find some people doing small jobs of cross stitching anime characters and video games. But now I'm gathering up my tools and learn how to cross stitch.

Thanks for the tutorial link. I needed that. I almost spent the whole day trying to find a decent tutorial on cross stitching for beginners but wasn't satisfied. You totally made my day.

I don't knot my threads tho. I usually tucked them into the other stitches. Other tutorials would explain it how to do it.
Just make sure all your stitches face in the same direction!!
/////// then go back \\\\\\ to make XXXXXXX. Your stitches will lay flat if done correctly-- also don't pull too hard when doing stitches too -just gentle tugs- You want full stitches
