# About me

Raymond Thornton is an American fine artist/illustrator living in Northwest Indiana. Not much is known of him except that he likes to wear white shirts, enjoys warm summer nights and cold winter mornings. Oh, and he likes to paint and draw too. His oil paintings have been exhibited across the country and he has won a few awards along the way. He did the illustrations for a book that he and his mother co-created called Upir and the Monster Gang. An illustrated novel about monsters and mayhem with over sixty full color illustrations.

p.s. Congrats on the award at the OPA show... I guess it's been about a year now, that was posted October 2012. Are you doing any shows this year? I've been wanting to get to conventions to show my comic, but have been having difficulty making that happen the past couple years.

Thanks woohooligan, Yeah, the OPA Show was about a year ago. I seriously have to update my Deviant Blog. Itwas a fun show. I've been in a couple shows since then. The Art Renal Center's Annual Exhibition being the most recent. Other than that I haven't entered as much this year, busy with other things. I've been thinking about possible getting a table at some comic convention too, but haven't done it yet. Maybe in a couple of years we both have spots at some conventions. Yeah, I've been busy with a lot of other things this year too... the past couple years actually, between needing to take over custody of my kids, getting married again, looking for a house and just about 2 weeks ago I was diagnosed with severe diabetes, so that's a real life-change.
