# About me
A journalist and writer for practically my entire adult life. I've always loved to draw but was discouraged from doing so because it wasn't "practical" and "reliable."Now, I'm trying to make up for lost time and although I know I have little chance of going professional, I still have hope. :p I am completely self-taught so if any professional masters out there wanna give me some pointers, that'd be great. I'm a horror/fantasy/sci fi fan, be it movies, TV or books. Love it so much, I married a geek. ;) Although I try to do "serious" art, I am not averse to doing fanart so you'll see them peppering my gallery, if not now, definitely later down the road.
I also do commissions. Note me if you'd like me to create something for you. My rates may not be as low as some non-professional dA artists, but I settled on them based on my cost of living expenses. As it is, I'm lucky not to have to depend on my commission income as I would likely have starved by now.
Feel free to say hi. I don't bite ... not really.

P.S. My tumblr is a bit dusty, but I occasionally update it. So don't be disappointed if you see tumbleweeds. :o

OK so I have submitted quite a few photo's to this page and all of them were declined !! I understand you say you have a certain standard to uphold but having looked through your gallery I find that laughable. So whats the deal ... sexism/ageism or just accepting 'random' shots. I would appreciate an answer to this because I am really curious about how you decide what is GOOD enough ! thank you

I wanted to ask you if you allowed any of your stock to be used as drawing/painting reference for commission work? I do private commissions. I usually depend on myself for female poses, but male is a different matter. Any clarification would be helpful, thanks.

It really depends on how much you are charging for the comission and its intended use after, as comissions for people/individuals for their private collection/requests I have no objections (just give me the ususal credit).
If it were commercial it would be case by case
