# About me

Antti Hohtari, Finnish digital photographer, student and musician.

Photographing has been close to my heart since I was very young. My father was an professional photographer back in the days and he's probably the greatest influence that I've ever had.
Photographing is something I can enjoy while doing it. It's very refreshing and creative hobby...


I started photographing about 5 years ago. Actually I fell in love with photographing when I tried my fathers old "professional" camera. He used to be event photograper something about twenty years ago.
Then I started to learn the "real deal" of photographing and exploring the multiple things about photographing. Nowadays I mostly take macro and experimental pictures. I like to try something new, like playing with different lighting styles and colours.
My current project is "The Elements". The idea is to get images from earth, wind and fire. I also try to capture some water pictures.
Elements are really fascinating and I like playing with different kind of textures.

But that is how it started. First I tried the basics, flowers, macro and this kind of stuff with that old black & white camera. Also, that's one reason why I like so much B&W pictures.
