Good evening, Rebecca. Greetings to you from California, where I'm nine hours behind you, typing this instead of working at my day job. Thank you very much for dropping by and viewing my work. Thank for sharing your very own interesting and very expressive art. Perhaps it is only my interpretation -- and as I don't read Swedish I can't read any commentary that might confirm or refute my interpretation -- but there seems to be an underlying tone of sadness that riffs through much of your work. Perhaps that is why I find much of your portrait and figurative work so visually compelling. On a totally unrelated note, many, many, many years ago, when I was a teenager living in New York City I was in a rock band. (I did not play guitar well, and frankly, I don't have a sense of rhythm to either play instruments or dance.) Our guitarist went on to become famous. His brother who played bass passed away recently. And our drummer was the son of a famous record producer. His last name was Thiel.

Thank you for showing interest in my work and sharing your interesting story! I think art is the foundation of our well-being and gives us the courage to for example proceed from bad experiences, dare to take charge of inner conflicts and process the environment around us. It is an essential piece of our inner puzzle. And therefore should we not be afraid of chasing after that weight in our lives. We must dare to choose what we love, and my love for creating art is what helps me when everything else feels difficult.

Hello CaramellDancenGirl! How swell that you like my work!
I usually start with an idea or a theme (right now I'm very interested in underwater motives) and ofc search for some reference photos. After all the "pre-work" is done I allow myself to be more free in my "creation-process". I mostly paint, draw and do prints.
