i found some good tutorials, you can find the links on my profile. the book is kind of boring, i would suggest you go with the youtube ones. so much more entertaining

and thanks too

gesture drawing can help you develop your own poses (helps u understand stuff). gesture drawing is basically a quick sketch which captures the basic shape of the image
