I redid the boots, and they're no longer cracker or tearing up my legs! Yay! Redid the armbands too so they're not fraying all over the place. Weapons are done and SUPERglued this time (;
Now all thats left is a new wig which i'll hopefully have soon enough. Then Rikku's done and i can work on A/C Yuffie and if i have time, DoC.

I need to start workin' out. I tried on my Rikku costume, and ive gotten curvier since last year so it fits a lot better, but i've also been eating, NON STOP. Thankfully due to my mom's side of the family, its not easy for me and my brother to gain massive amounts of weight. ^^
I just need to work on toning my tumtum and work on that bit of tummy rollover. XD

Ehh, so so. My friend Kashie i've been friends with for 4 years i met online (on a game called habbo) came to meet me on the 3rd and stayed til the 9th. She lives about 2 hours away. Sorry to say that no one liked her too well. She was a bit on the rude side and never really said please and thank you, but hey, everyone's raised different i guess. She enjoyed her stay for the most part i guess. other than that little peice, my summer's going alright. I finished my yuffie cosplay, and now all i need is the wig and figure out how to get white striped knee socks ;D

As for the guy, we dont talk at all anymore. i'll text him this saturday to wish him a happy birthday and i'll be lucky if i get a reply. the things he did in the past were minor immature things in middle school like trying smoking pot and such. he's a pervert, but my friend amanda and i tried explaining to her EVERY guy is a pervert in some way. She went through some boy drama this year too. With herself. She found out he was a pervert aswell and now she's ticked about it i guess. Back to my guy, she denied everything i tried telling her about him. Amanda and i talked to him all year and he actually respects women as much as a stereotypical father would want a young guy to. he has quite an ego on his shoulders though. Im pretty much done liking everyone right now. Im back to my anime obsessions and video games for the summer.

^^ Im heavily back into the Dragon Ball series like i was when i was about 9 or so. Even after all these years my favorite character is and always will be Trunks. XD

On to the girl you're talking about. It kinda does sound like (im not gonna take sides since i dont know her) she'd be the type to use him. You never know though, she just might be friends with him. Close friends and nothing more. As for you two getting back together, i hope you do! Just keep being friends with him and keep a good relationship with him and dont drift away at all and you never know. I have faith in it (;

Its good to have hope. Always keep in mind though there are other fish in the sea, not just ones in the bowl you keep close ^^. If things turn out not working out, open your mind to other possibilities. There might be a secret admirer of yours quietly waiting, or even someone you havent met yet!
It's easy for me to get over some things, but thats just me. I just turn to anime and go gaga over a character for a while. When i go back to school, im gonna be wondering why there arent random aliens attacking my school, and why nothing happens when i scream NIMBUSSSSS! :3

Side topic; Umm, im having a bit of trouble with the knee socks for Yuffie. Do you recommend i keep searching for socks with two stripes at the top, or paint them on or something? As for the knee socks, what I did on mine was sew in the stripes. Just make sure you could still stretch the garter after sewing in the stripes. But painting it would be good too.

Goodness me. About 3 1/2 weeks til school starts back up. -SIGH- I still have summer homework to do. It wouldve been done by now if i wasnt so obsessive about it. In the past 2 years i've actually had summer homework, they've chosen the books for us to read. This year we get to choose our own, over 200 pages and no graphic novels/manga. And then take a picture of yourself reading it. Im down with the whole picture thing, but giving ME the choice of the book makes me kinda panic. What if i choose a book and then when we go to do an assignment on it at school, it ends up being challenging, or i dont like it, or i find something else that interests me, or UGH!
Right now im deciding to read Chinese Cinderella: The True Story of an Unwanted Girl. The only thing im panicking about is that it's 203 pages, (the library one i have atleast) and all the websites say its 224 pages.
ARGH! IM IN A RUT! And overthinking this a LOT. XD
Got any good books to reccomend me? Sorry for rambling XDD

Dude, I used to read a lot. XD That's why I have bad eyes. But, I kinda don't remember any books. XD I do suggest you read at least 15-25 pages a day. That's cause you have 3 1/2 weeks to go before school. Then after reading you freaking finish that book report FAST, then you finish your cosplay. XD

LOL and another suggestion, I suggest you don't follow this suggestion. Or else you'll turn out like ME, no passion left for cosplaying. I've been thinking of priorities lately and, well, that's the reason why I've no more cosplay progress. It saddens me.

I used to LOVE reading mystery novels and such when i was little. I struggle with literary classes surprisingly. I dont grasp the whole concept of knowing every detail in the book like protag/antag, sequence of events, such and such. But i am a very fast reader ^^ Finished the book in a day! Today, actually. Im just worried the teacher wont accept it since it's officially 230 some pages long, but thats counting the beginning which are numbered in roman numerals and are just background about the story since it's a true story and all. Argh im scared. It comes to EXACTLY 199 pages. The minimun is 200. How much do you think i want to rip my hair out? XDD

My cosplay progress saddens me. Theres a time at the end of summer a few weeks before school starts (aka now) that theres NOTHING to do that entertains me or sparks my interest. At all. I get on the computer, im bored. I get off, im bored. I examine my cosplays, and see theres not much left to do until i get the wigs around november/december, and then im bored again. Ahh the endless cycle!
Well, if this counts at all, i relgued everything that was redone on Yuffie and made sure ribbon and other things stay down and hold properly, and also i made the white wristband. I still need to decipher how to add the stripes to the socks and also what to make the black arm warmer out of, then adding stripes on that. XD Hoo boy.
