I had just came back from the store with my grandmother, for the first time in awhile,
she bought me a dress. She said I could pick anyone I wanted to I picked a black and purple dress.
I had wanted to show it to Gen. He seemed to be inΒ
a better mood lately. We have had a lot of small talk and I got to know him more.
But I wasn't sure where to exactly start, I don't know where he lives.
So I rode my bike almost everywhere in Benham city it seemed.
I had then soon spotted him by the icecream truck that usual comes around now
because it's so close to summer.Β
I started to happily peddle towards him.
"Gen! Gen! Look at my new dress. I got it in a different color from my usual one."
I got off my bike to see him eating the same type of icecream as last time, I think it was fudge---- something I couldn't really remember the name.Β

Guren sat humming happily as he smeared paint around his palette. Smiling when he made a pretty color.
Today in art class, everyone was paired up with a partner to collaborate in making a moral. Guren just happened to be paired with Gen.
"Hey Gen! What do you think of this color for the coral?" Showing him a bright peachy color.
Receiving a simple nod, Guren continued to mix colors and blot the canvas in random squiggles.
Occasionally pausing to look over their progress, while subconsciously wiping his forehead. Oblivious to the pink smear he left on his cheek.

Gen nearly laughed looking at the mark on the others cheek. Instead he just gently grabbed the others shoulder, shaking him slightly and touching his cheek. "You smeared something on your cheek, Guren. Here, I got it." Gen pulled a clothe out of his pocket, wiping the paint of his face in a circular motion, staring at the other face to face and smiling softly. "This is pretty nice... just the two of us..."he sighed, bringing the clothe back when he was done "Do you think we could go watch the sunset again tonight... I want to tell you something..."

Guren's face tinted lightly in pink, as he smiled. "Sure! That'd be just fine."
He thanked Gen and continued to mix colors. This time, adding a sunset in the background.
Ever so carefully, he'd sneak a glance towards Gen. Smiling to himself when he saw his delighted face.
By the end of the class, the two of them had completed their painting. The canvas was decorated with bright coral, rainbows of fish, and a peaceful sunset glow above the water. All of which were quite simple, yet, it all made for a nice image.
After their next classes, the bell rung to dismiss the day, and students began to file though the doors.
Walking his friends to the gate, GurenΒ said his goodbyes. Waving whenΒ they hadΒ left, he happily hummed as he waited for Gen.

Gen smiled seeing the other, grabbing his hand and pulling him over to his usual place. "Guren..." he started out like he usually would, leaning foreward and bringing his face close to his ear. "I got a secret, you think you could keep it?" Seeing the other nod he laughed slightly "For the longest time, I've ad this insane crush on you, and well, I was wandering if you would give me the privilege of being your lover... that's only if you want..." even though he kept his smile, internally he was breaking with the fear of rejection, but also the hope of acceptance.
/ anD THE TRUTH CAME OUT.

Guren's stomach did a flip and butterflies began to flutter throughout his body delightfully. For a moment Guren held his breath in disbelief, then reality came rushing to him. He couldn't believe it!
His body trembled, and his face heated up. Speechless, he opted for a physical response.
Β Taking a hesitant step forward, Guren reached for Gen. And in a quick move, he was on his tiptoes, hugging Gen with his arms looped around his neck. He breathed shakily, asΒ he struggled for the right words.
"I-I....How could IΒ say no...wh-when you are...the one....I-I've ever dreamed of..."
Guren buried his face into his shoulder as he felt his eyes well up with tears.
He couldn't describe how much hope he was feeling....
/overflowing love came out in tears/

Gen was in a state of pure excitement. He smiled happily, holding the other close. He laughed a bit, the tears welling from his eyes as well. He pulled back for a moment, slightly kissing the others forehead. "Hey, Guren, wanna head out for some ice cream... you could call it a date if you wish."

Guren nodded as he wiped his eyes with his sleeve. He smiled up at Gen and took his hand.
"Sure~"
They walked out of the park just as the sun went down and thy sky was a mixture of pink and purples.
Guren, with half lidded eyes, still felt butterflies flourish within him.
Hand in hand, they happily enjoyed each other's company.
Feeling warm, and maybe a bit fluffy, he leaned his head against Gen's arm.

Gen laughed slightly at the other, "Your so cute..." he sighed, running a hand through his hair "So, anything you really want to do? I don't mind as long as you're happy."

Guren sighed contently.
"I'm fine as long as I'm with you."
He blushed slightly at how cheesyΒ that was. Yet, he felt it flow so truthfully.
"But we could get ice cream before the shop closes."

Gen laugh, ruffling the others hair "That sounded so cheesy..." Leaning forward, he brought his face close to the others ear "But, cute..."

And rather than ice cream, Guren decided on a cup of tea.
Contently looking down the street, he sighed,Β "This is nice~"
