# About me

Como um diletante que se expresse no campo das artes plásticas, é da praxe revelar desde cedo essa necessidade quase fisiológica, de se libertar artisticamente: aos 6 anos, altura em que entra para a escola primária em que é notado pelos professores, revela nesse desempenho uma especial percepção para ver o mundo e poder retratá-lo. Em 1996, começa a trabalhar como retratista nas ruas de Albufeira no centro antigo da cidade em retratos feitos ao vivo ou por foto, função que mantém até hoje, como único meio de subsistência. Entretanto, entre 1997 e 1998, frequenta o curso de desenho livre na Faculdade de Arquitectura do Porto. Já em 2000, faz a primeira de muitas exposições individuais e posteriormente colectivas.
