So, I'm not sure why you feel the need to weigh in here. You probably should have waited until Nate's journal went up and maybe then you would've taken his advice to heart and decided to leave well enough alone.

Currently, the only reason I can fathom that you'd even bother giving me your opinion on this at all is that you saw others doing the same and thought “Oh! Strength in numbers!”. I left without any widespread notification (journal, etc.) for a good number of reasons, but if you three and others insist on proliferating this high school level farce of a drama crusade that I have actively sought to avoid, then I'm more than prepared to torch some bridges.

I never meant to be insulting, and I didn't mean what I said to be an attack. I was mainly commenting towards the fact that the song you linked was taken offensively by a couple people, and that there was a better way to let people know you were leaving. That, and I was a little disappointed that you took all the stories and pictures for the tourney down...even if it didn't go the way you'd have liked, the work you did was still really good!

I'm very sorry that I upset you, I really didn't mean to.

So much for a first impression with as little vitriol as possible! Though I don't imagine anyone held a gun to your head and made you come comment here either.

If he feels he needs or wants one, all he has to do is demand it from me. Of course you all know him far better than I probably ever will, but given what I do know about the man in regard to past tournament endeavors with him, watching his solo tournament runs, and just talking to him in casual conversation:

He probably gives even less of a damn about all this than I do.

And considering the recent evidence supporting my lack of cares to give, that means he is likely giving negative damns about it. Impressive, to say the least.

Come to think of it, I noted a surprising indifference towards our almost battle in a comment he made on one of LotsofMoon's recently deleted journals. Not that I blame him for that! I've not exactly proven myself to be the best opponent! Sharharharhar

In fact his recent journal fav.me/d8ygnfx gives some very solid advice for both parties in this debacle. Some of it I will take into account as it can very easily be assigned to me--while the rest of it I feel geared toward those of a certain mindset that view a forfeit in a remarkably negative light, or people who didn't really put a whole lot of effort into their story and piggy-backed on other plots too heavily.

If I had to guess at what really went through Nate's mind, it'd probably go something like this:
