Yeah, I took it during my freshman year in high school. I picked up a job and quit the classes so I could focus on school and work.

I only made to yellow/gold, whatever. Could have progressed rather quickly if I'd have stuck around, but I felt I had more important things to take care of.

They were pushin' me for tournaments pretty hard too.

Ah, I got up to Red Belt-Apprentice before I had to leave. Took me about 8 months to get that high. My class never really did much tournaments and I didn't stick around long enough for their annual one.
